Joarr Emporium Cafe & Takeaway — Restaurant in Sefton

I ordered a range of deserts from this place last night including chocolate cake , cheese cake , 2 giant cookies and a meringue pie all were not expected , the chocolate cake was moldy and soggy and smelt funny I had one bite of it and it’s was absolutely disgusting I would not recommend also the cheese cake was not cheese cake it was watery smelt off with the cheese being more sickly and the smell was pungent I’ve received food poising from this ‘cheese cake’ the biscuit base was also very soggy and crumbly . The so called giant cookies were rock hard not safe to eat and they to also smelt horrible the final desert was the meringue pie that was tiny and was not edible it looked and smelt disgusting , I do not understand why this company haven’t been inspected by the food health organisation it will be as I will be getting in contact with them , it’s extortion how this company can expect you to pay a minimum of £15 for this rubbish amount of disgusting food I demand to have a refund as I’ve been food poisoned but this monstrosity unbelievable you...

We called in for a brew and was surprised to find this food emporium was not on the google map, we had some chips and gravy just to see if they would serve something that was not listed, but they do everything you would need and they also deliver, the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpfull, they even have a secluded area outside where you can eat in this great weather another pluss is they are lisenced to sell alcohol and even deliver drink but you must provide ID on delivery, they deliver from 11AM to 11PM every day, the kitchen is behind the counter and you can see everything being made all i could say is it is...

We ordered to a hotel and they included one tiny packet of salt and no napkins for a whole bargain bucket. I know, not a huge deal but common sense could be used that someone staying at a hotel would need some salt, plus the salt was lazily placed at the bottom of the box. It doesn't take much effort to just put it in the bag instead. The chips weren't great and the chicken was kinda burnt and not very tasty. The order took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive. Disappointing takeaway.
