Food generally good but massively let down by the wine, Ive tried all three reds on offer and wont try any of them again , very poor quality and Sainsburys is just around the corner, for god sake make an effort . Coffee pretty poor also, but as i said the food is good and good value. Steak great and short ribs great the fish is good but the is wine nasty.. Atmospheric and nice staff a good local haunt let down by the awful wine.. visit and have steak ,fish or ribs , get a beer or soft drink and you wont be let down. Avoid the wine.. Hello again and thanks for your kind response , i know the problems with commercial wine suppliers and its a challenge. Your probably better popping around to Sainsburys every week and buying wines that you have tried before and like. And avoiding a cold cellar with the reds is a good idea, they will be fine unopened for months kept in the bar area, and at a better temperature when people buy them. I have always enjoyed the food and the steak and pepper sauce i had a few weeks ago was the best thing I have eaten in Crosby all year, The sauce was really fantastic, you could tell it was exactly what it should be. The staff are great , food great. The coffee thing is down to my preference i suppose , I love a dark roast Italian and I am not really a fan of modern fruity coffee that seems to be all the rage at the moment. So I love what your doing and will return, my comments were made with the best possible intentions and I am please Crosby has another good place to eat.. You seem to be doing very well , busy and a good atmosphere... What a amazing little addition to the Crosby area... Such a welcoming, warming place with a lovely vibe.. All the staff are so friendly & smiley and nothing was too much trouble.... And now THE FOOD!! 😲 The Sunday Lunch was amazing, sooooo tasty, good portions and a real home cooked feeling to the whole dish.... the Beef and Chicken was so well roasted and presentation was spot on not to mention the Yorkshire Puds which were perfect!!! We finished with School cake & Custard... What a delicious blast from the past that was!! I'm sure their regular memu is superb also!!

Fantastic place to eat and drink. Lots of great offers on food; roast dinners, fish and chips and the scotch eggs all deserve a special mention. All of the staff are very hard working, helpful and professional. The management have recently helped raise money for a disabled swing to be put in to a local park with a raffle, which is really nice touch doing things like this for the local community. I have only good things to say about this place. Different nights karaoke, quiz and singles etc, good beer and atmosphere. A fab place and a credit to the two...
