Dolly's — Restaurant in Sheffield

Dolly's was highly recommended by the builders I have working on my house so I offered to go and get them all lunch. They advised to call in advance, I tried calling several times, finally when someone answered the phone was left off the receiver but no one actually spoke. Stood like a fool while they have a conversation with a regular about his wife's order, 10 minutes later still stood there. Wouldn't mind but swearing and inappropriate conversation around customers isn't the right way. Also the regular who was talking clearly never leaves the house and this is the highlight of his day, made sure to let everyone around him know he knew the owners 🤣 least he'll be one customer...

I didn't fetch the sandwich as one of my workmates collected them so can't score that fairly. However the bacon salad I received was very average best. The bacon fat was virtually raw, the bread is not great, and salad seems to be a BLT with peppers and cucumber.
