Espresso UK — Restaurant in Sheffield

Fantastic coffee shop. An elderly lady recommended this coffee shop to me saying that she had been drinking coffee for over 70 years and this is the coffee she loved the most. I got curious so me and my husband tried it with our son.

Americano is so smooth. Just right. I may say better than Starbucks and Costa. We love our coffee and we have espresso machines in the house. Aeropress, filter, dolce gusto, etc. I even grind my own beans. But sometimes you just want to have a cuppa in a coffee shop.

The milkshakes and cakes are not so sweet. Pleasant to taste because you don't just taste the sugar, you actually taste the flavour.

Trust me, a good cuppa in this shop. And mind you, I review places and stuff for a living. I was not paid for this review either.

Ambience is great. The staff are friendly but respectful of your privacy.

Stopped here this morning as the M62 was finally kind to me (yes really) and I got to Sheffield an hour earlier than planned. So glad I found this place, the coffee selection is out of this world and I'd go as far as to say the coffee I had was one of.....in fact, no, THE best coffee Ive ever had and Ive had a lot. I'd like to say which coffee it was but at 7.15am after a 2 hour drive I can't remember 😂😂 Have a chat with the owner (sure it was the owner), really friendly and passionate about what he serves. Been here afew times so this review is after visiting this place and drinking/eating in, first time I went was with Family, other times friends or Alone and its never let me down. Nevermimd the big franchises this coffee shop is 👌. The croissants are amazing some of the best freshly made on site, I've tried afew different coffees from here, milkshake, cheesecake, etc and they have all been on point. I have sugar in my coffee and normally ask for it first so I dont ruin the froth 😏. I highly recommend this coffee shop for either coffee, chai, croissants even...
