The food was actually not bad, and I would have definitely left a higher score if it wasn’t for everything else that happened. Despite having only two other tables taken in the restaurant, other than us, we waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. We weren’t informed in the beginning that we’re going to have to wait that long - it looked like they were taking care of takeaway orders but not the people waiting in the restaurant. Then I found a thick black hair in my food, which they replaced straight away, and we still paid for it, they didn’t take it off the bill, which any other restaurant I guess would do? Then when it came to payment - if we didn’t go to the counter to pay I think we would be waiting another one hour to get the bill. And then we couldn’t split the bill as we were told they are being charged by the card machine provider per transaction. 😩 that’s the cost of running a business - you cannot say to the customer you won’t split the bill cause the company charged you per transaction 🤦🏻‍♀️ the overall experience was pretty bad - we were massively hungry and nothing else around was open, otherwise we would have left. Ordered food at half 8. With additional instructions to use my neighbours address as you will struggle to find my address as satnav won't take you to it. And you'll be spending more time wondering round the estate than getting on with other deliveries. My neighbours is literally bang across from my bedroom window. 10 to 10 comes no food still... getting a little worried rang restaurant as was getting hungry reassured food is on the way. Half 10 comes still no food rings again. Foods been delivered. It hasn't otherwise I wouldn't be calling. Turns out driver "rang" my friends phone we have no missed call on the phone and delivered to my neighbours. My flat is literally bang across from their front door your driver was there. I understand it does get confusing having to use two addresses but most other delivery places seem to be able to understand and deliver my order. Not happy now starving. Surely you'd use common sense in seeing two addresses on the reciept one being my actual address on the top next to my name and contact number and the other address in additional information. Absolutely gorgeous food, as ever! Arrived impulsively on Sunday early evening and had a very nice surprise them doing an eat all you can eat table service (not buffet) menu. There was a good selection for us. We ordered the obligatory popodums and pickles whilst waiting for the starters, very nice. We ordered our starters sides and mains on arrival and one serving of each was more than plenty for us, even though we could've ordered more if we wished. All food was excellently cooked and presented. Very friendly service and very busy, good to see with all the recent pandemic restrictions being lifted. We've been before and would most definitely go again! 4* instead of 5* only due to the wait between courses.
