KFC Sheffield - Handsworth Road — Restaurant in Sheffield

I just popped in for dinner as a treat for the kids and whilst waiting (a long time for an empty KFC and at a reasonable time of day) I witnessed the assistant on the counter sneeze into the neck of his t-shirt and then not washing his hands. Then whilst standing and waiting for food to be prepared the assistant constantly played with his beard, again not washing his hands. To top this off, a previous customer walked back into the store and showed the same assistant a KFC bag and asked what the piece of chicken in the bag was supposed to be. The assistant told the customer it was a chicken wing, The customer asked if he could swap the wing for a leg of chicken. This customer had left the store at least 10 minutes before, as that was how long I had been waiting in the empty store for my order. The assistant swapped the wing with a leg and instead of throwing the chicken wing away, he placed it back in the hot counter for another customer, the assistant had no knowledge of who or what had touched that chicken wing or check it's temperature, he just placed it back on the tray with the other chicken... DISGUSTING... TOTALLY UNHYGIENIC... I WONT BE USING THIS BRANCH OF KFC AGAIN. I would have scored the branch zero stars but the review wouldn't...

I waited 30 minutes for a party bucket and I was waiting at the counter for it to be prepared. I was surrounded by numerous people complaining that there were missing food items and drinks from the orders, cold food etc.

After 10 minutes I was asked my order number and told they were still waiting for chicken. After 20 minutes I was told the same. After nearly 30 minutes I asked again but spoke to the manager who again said the same but said he would personally sort it and pop in an extra side for the wait. I would have cancelled the order if it wasn't for the children waiting for it in the car and the other family waiting for it at home.

They basically kept forgetting my order as i dont think it would take 30 minutes to fry some chicken...

Very disappointing.

The manager ended up resolving my issue, but the manager did not apologise for my wait (although the other servers had previously apologised to me). A free side or 2 wasn't enough to make me return to...

Atrocious, the girl taking the order was very rushing even tho there were no cars behind me. When I got my order I stopped in the car park to check the order as it seems to be a thing with kfc that the order is always wrong! I looked in the bag and the chips were upside down and fallen everywhere, plus the sides were small when large meals had been ordered so I went into store to get them to sort it out, which the manager did, all the staff was looking at me like I was in the wrong. I got my order and came home to find one of the sides were still small, the burgers must have been cooked twice due to the blackness of the batter and the sides were clearly old. See pictures..

Edit: Both drinks were wrong and the gravy was basically water!

Will not be having kfc from Sheffield again as this store and City road store are consistently way...
