The Bridge — Restaurant in Sheffield

Myself and my family have attempted to enjoy a drink here multiple times and have felt unwelcome on the majority of these occasions, mostly by the woman who runs the pub and a few of the regular visitors. We have been as a couple when everything has been fine and a few times with our dog has been ok however whenever we visit with our son we have been on edge - he gets told by this staff member what he can and can’t do, she expects him to be sat quietly in a corner, she scowls at him and is generally rude towards us. The pub has games scattered around which are attractive to children yet when they play and make a little noise or mess they are frowned upon. As a pub set in a very family oriented community and close to woodland walks and parks it is to be expected that children will visit with their family, therefore I am disappointed that the staff don’t accommodate for this.

It was a lovely environment, staff are friendly and although it was busy they tried so hard to meet everybody's needs. The pub is clean and well kept they had loads on for the kids, bouncy castle, face painting and Easter bunny!! They had karaoke on and a good choice of food.
