Bombay Pavilion — Restaurant in Slough

Really lost for words. I was staying at a neighbouring hotel, looking for something different to have for dinner when I noticed 5 stars on Google. Well i said to myself, let’s give it a go, they have set some high expectations. I was somewhat disappointed when I got to the restaurant and realised it’s just another hotel restaurant. Boy I was wrong. Great (and I mean it) great food. My bar for Indian cooking has been set extremely high by an Indian friend who has treated me to quite some exquisite south Asian food outlets. Bombay Pavillion stood up to my challenge and wow’d me. I had the lamb Karahi, soft like butter and a rich, tasty and perfectly spice curry sauce. Impeccable service and calm atmosphere. 🇬🇧 Excellent Indian restaurant located inside the Copthorne Hotel Slough - Windsor. The place is relatively small but can accommodate a fair number of people inside. The setting is very well-kept: themed painted walls, hanging photos, background music and soft lighting. I have dined in this restaurant countless times and I have never been disappointed by the food or the staff who have always been welcoming, kind and available to satisfy every request. Among all the staff, Shikawat stands out in particular (I hope I wrote the name correctly), excelling in professionalism. The menu is varied and the service is really efficient, I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The prices are slightly higher than average. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend trying this restaurant especially if, like you have a hotel room, you don't want/have time to go out to eat in the evening.

🇮🇹 Eccellente ristorante indiano situato all'interno del Copthorne Hotel Slough - Windsor. Il locale è relativamente piccolo ma riesce ad ospitare un discreto numero di persone al suo interno. L'ambientazione è molto curata: pareti dipinte a tema, foto appese, musica in sottofondo e luce soffusa. Ho cenato in questo ristorante un'innumerevole quantità di volte e non sono mai rimasto deluso né dal cibo né dal personale che è sempre stato accogliente, gentile e disponibile nel soddisfare ogni richiesta. Tra tutto il personale spicca particolarmente Shikawat (spero di aver scritto il nome correttamente) che eccelle in professionalità. Il menù è davvero molto vario ed il servizio è davvero efficiente, non ho mai dovuto aspettare più di 10 minuti per l'arrivo del cibo. I prezzi sono leggermente più alti rispetto alla media.
