Came to Kashmiri Karahi from London at lunch time. The restaurant was almost empty at the time. There is parking available which is convenient for anyone driving. Unfortunately my experience at KK was extremely disappointing. The waiter seemed disinterested and there wasn't so much as a smile from anyone serving us the entire time we were there. I ordered the Seekh Kebab starter, Karahi Ghosht and Ginger Chicken mains. The waiter practically dropped the plate on the table with the kebabs rolling all over the plate which was ridiculous. I've never seen such poor behaviour and service in any Pakistani restaurant before. The Karahi Ghosht was ok but the Ginger chicken was terrible. Bland with hardly any ginger in it. I honestly could've made it better myself following a YouTube recipe. The common thing binding all three items was that they were *extremely* oily. To the point there were pools of it in the plates including the Seekh kebabs! How do you make Seekh kebabs this oily?? Please see the photos for proof. If it was this bad when the place was near empty I can't imagine how much worse it would be when it's busy. Avoid this place.

A bit disorganised. What appears to be the main entrance is for the breakfast section: there is a separate one for lunch, which wasn't obvious. I asked for a menu I could take away, but they didn't have any of the leaflet type so they gave me a (rather tatty) one of the kind used in the restaurant. Only knife and fork were provided: the food required a spoon. (I suppose I could have asked for a spoon.) I ordered a chicken curry but I'm pretty sure it was lamb. When I asked for the bill, the man just wrote the total amount on a piece of paper and showed it to me: not an itemised list, despite the menu saying I should check my bill to ensure it was correct. The cuisine is Pakistani, with a few Chinese items. The only English food is chips. A party might include people who don't like Pakistani or Chinese food. Not licensed to sell alcohol. The website wasn't up (04 January 2025). Fundamentally sound, and the food was good, but all these extra matters are important.

Went here for the first time and what an experience! The guy who welcomed us at the reception was friendly and professional. Then we were sat down and a very rude, unprofessional guy came to take our order. Seeing as it was our first time there, we were asking questions as portion size and recommendations of food and he was so rude and abrupt! His response was "look, what do you want? This size or that size portion? Was quite taken aback by him but can't say the service improved throughout our meal there.. lots of young boys working there, polite in their own way but not skilled. A very chaotic restaurant, lots of rushing around by staff, stressing over stuff. Not the greatest ambience when out for a meal. Food was ok but I definitely won't be back! Very oily starter! It was definitely an experience I don't want to repeat! The quality of this experience was a quite poor. Customer service needs to be looked at as it lacked greatly....

We had a party of over 40 people. I liked the venue particularly access to the park for kids. However, whole experience was ruined by extremely unhelpful management.

The seating arrangement was very tight "shoulder to shoulder". When complained was told that " they are in business for x number of years and its standard and I may not have experience of buffet parties". So number of my guests ended up eating while holding plates in their laps as were sitting on chairs with no table.

The buffet refill service was "VERY SLOW" , they were hoping that guest may not ask for more food. Got a number of complaints from guests that there is no food (refill). So I had a pleasure of eating "cold food" as have to leave my food in the middle for number of times to request refill. Upon request, the containers were partially filled (at each request) and emptied very quickly. Also have to ask few times to provide soft drink bottles to guests.

We booked a hall for a birthday party but there is no clear wall to hang banners and management was "extremely touchy" when we used "white tac" (at time of booking were told that we can use "white tac") on only wall that can be potentially used for temporary decoration. Can't understand management's behaviour as they were holding a deposit of £300 for any damage and also charged a FLAT FEE of £50 for cleaning.

Even that is not enough, they stopped kids going outside in a park and kids ended up running around in a small hall and ruined the whole experience.

Our selection of this venue was due to an access to the park from hall, newly refurbished hall and dedicated catering service. Unfortunately actual experience was opposite with no access to the park, management was touchy about new hall (despite holding deposit) and a tight seating arrangement with slow catering service.

I will not recommend this venue for any parties where hosts have to do some decoration (temporary/removable) in a hall and require an access to the park. It may be suitable for office lunches only.

Will not visit again nor recommend friends...

I went there after 1 year almost i was thinking their taste might be improved but that was opposite. I have ordered halwa puri halwa was taste nice but eating purri have bad smell of oil might that mixed with some other food or not changed. Then have pink tea was taste like salt inside seriously it was not that i was expecting. No taste of desi tea and pink tea just like drinking hot water……. Its better to drink from chaiology or chaiwalaa soo muxhh better…. We spent nearly 60-70£ but was a waste of money….🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁 Why taste not being considered and improved why customer reviews are ignored and no improvement . This restaurant is located on good location but very few item have a good taste. We ordered chicken karahi that was taste good i will say honestly. Staff was in a rushhhh give one one thing and then running away it wasn’t even busy it was only 3,4 table people were eating …. As a employee they should know that customers need tissues and extra things while eating why customer have to call every time can you please bring this or that… we ordered karahi no raita was given no sauces was given with fries and fish tikka… we were asking again and again can you please give a some sauce… this is so basic things that employee knows. I am aslo working as manager in a restaurant but this restaurant just going downn and down… no food taste no customer service…… we ordered alu parathaa that was given burnedddd and we said to re make that parathaaaaa… seriously 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠……. They should ask and give basic things to customer that comes with foood and stay wait for them to order and brings things not in a rush like train is going to miss…… even it wasn’t busy…… they have to change their taste as welll…. To get customer ….. please change your oil was smelling bad even in fish tikkaaa… and in halwaa puriiii…… pleaseeeeee 🙏 its also about people health as welll you should care about it…. Sooo disappointed seriously taste and quality is sameee...

Visited Kashmiri Karahi for a leaving do with colleagues whom I had persuaded to try this restaurant. Oh was I wrong!!!! Went into the restaurant which gave vibes of a morgue. No lighting, no light music, absolute no ambience. It was an embarrassment to walk in having recommended it to my group of friends. We could not park in the car park as the manager said there is a function currently going on in the hall downstairs... there were absolutely no cars in the carpark so where were the function guests? There were no guests in the restaurant, it felt as spooky as walking into stonehenge on your own at night! Anyway as we had booked a number of tables, we decided to stay. It did not get any better... waiters were coming to take our orders but most could not understand English, which then made it difficult for our non-asian speaking guests. They had taken names down of what had been ordered by whom but got it all wrong when the food FINALLY came out and therefore it sounded like a fish market on a Friday morning! Some people had finished eating whilst others' food had not even arrived... awkward! Worst of all was getting told off by the Bald chap who called himself the manager and spoke to us in a condescending manner to keep our voices down! The absolute cheek of the man!! I guess him and his waiters were getting disturbed as they were watching something on their phones! When we asked what the matter was at the end of our meal, he continued to be rude saying we were disturbing the other guests with our chatter... WHAT OTHER GUESTS???!!! There was no one in sight apart from the zombified waiters who were sitting behind us on their phones! If you are planning to be told off for speaking whilst eating a tasteless meal which you are paying for, please do attend Kashmiri Karahi, they will not fail to...
