Costa Coffee - Langley — Restaurant in Slough

I recently visited Costa and had the pleasure of being served by Lavinia and Hafsah, and I must say, they made my day! Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine friendliness truly stood out.

Lavinia greeted me with a radiant smile and an uplifting energy that set a positive tone for my visit. She was efficient yet personable, taking the time to ensure my order was exactly how I wanted it. Her attention to detail and passion for her work were evident in the care she put into every step.

Hafsah was equally amazing, demonstrating excellent teamwork and customer care. She was not only quick and organized but also took a moment to engage in a friendly chat, making me feel valued as a customer. Her calm demeanor and dedication to quality were apparent, and my drink was absolutely perfect!

Typical of many Costa coffee shops in that it has to cater for a fast turnover of customers just looking for a quick and basic coffee.

Latte was made by putting the steamed milk in the cup first and then having the espresso dumped on top. It’s ok I suppose but pretty frowned upon by most baristas.

Try not to sit on the table behind the espresso machine. The knock box is right there and no attempt has been made to mute its metallic sounding noise as the staff release each puck from the basket. It’s like being in a panel beating shop with every metallic sounding random bang. Would be impossible to have a decent conversation on any of the tables behind this machine. Very easy solutions can be implemented here.

This branch also doesn’t take Amex. Probably due to the misconception of a huge expense to their business.

However it is what it is and many customers seem happy. Many will however move on if a real coffee shop...

I visited the new costa coffee in Langney and was very happy with my service, the whole experience was brilliant. I was served quickly, although choosing my drink I was still offered a new blend of coffee which I politely declined - although good for promotion! I had decided on a small snack but was offered a new brownie - salted caramel I believe! It was lovely so I thank Laura for that suggestion. I moved along to wait for my hot drink which is normally the dull part, however I was greeted by a lady called Lina who made my drink & took a general interest in holding a conversation. In all I was very happy and will now be clasping this costa as my local when in fact eastbourne town is closer! Spoilt for choice with all the lovely cakes...
