Would of placed the order on the app and then collected or got it delivered but neither was working. On arrival the only way of ordering was by the two touch screens which seems crazy, they weren't taking any orders at the counter, so had to queue and wait 15 mins to place my order on the touch screen. By comparison McDonald's have at least 7 touch screens and you can also order at the counter, and no surprise, no queues.
2 ordering touch screens and no counter service is absolutely abysmal! Some people do actually want to speak to someone and be served in person, and do not want to use the touch screens. ( which is a breeding ground for germs and no sanitizer in sight) But it seems that there is no option 😕
Whilst placing my order i tried to add a free reward from the app with the QR code provided. This also did not work and there was no receipt given by the machine, so had to take a picture of my order number for collection. Once I had placed my order I then had to endure another painful 15 minute wait for my food!
To add insult to injury I was given Pepsi instead of the peach ice tea that I had ordered and the chips were cold and unappetising too.

Read moreToo busy for the staff to handle the footfall! The manager seemed highly strung with a passive aggressive manner towards his staff. I wondered why whilst I waited to be served. The same manager served me. All I wanted was a family feast 10 pieces with sides of coleslaw and beans...also 2 addons of 2 large sides for £2.99 each to takeaway...he just didn't get it and a got impatient... I knew he would take my order incorrect...which he did! So came the long wait....whilst I waited I witnessed many customers who were eating in the dining area coming back for incomplete orders and incorrect orders...so when I did received the order I was tempted to check but was too impatient to check...when I got home to no surprise the order was wrong! This didn't bother me as much as the size of the chicken pieces or should I say looked like chicken nuggets. The chips were happy meal size...10 to12 chips in each bag...what the hell.. has brexit, fuel prices, inflation and austerity measures created these measures.....put your prices up if required and give larger chicken pieces and proper portions of chips... I wish I had bought 2 family feasts now...on a positive note..the food did taste good even though quantity was like family...

The young lady at the front counter of KFC in Cambridge truly stood out with her exceptional service. She greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile, making me feel instantly comfortable. She was incredibly patient and attentive while taking my order, ensuring that I got exactly what I wanted.
Throughout my ordering process she continuously checked in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Her dedication to maintaining a clean work area was also evident.
What impressed me the most was her willingness to assist other customers with the same level of enthusiasm and efficiency. It's rare to find such dedication and professionalism in fast-food service, and she deserves all the recognition for her hard work.
