The Kings Head — Restaurant in South Cambridgeshire

From the front, this pub doesn't even look like it is still in business! But it is. And I liked it! Right opposite the rather beautiful church. Nothing fancy, just a nice local pub full of local people. On the occasion I went in with my daughter there seemed to be a lot of excitement about a sweepstake on the Thousand Guineas which was on the telly. Much amusement when Doris had forgotten which horse she had picked from the hat and no-one else could remember either... I suggest paying in cash as the card machine seemed a bit temperamental when I went in. However, the landlady was very patient in getting the thing working and very friendly. They don't make pubs like this anymore, more's the pity....

Had the best night here lovely pub everyone so friendly and the staff are amazing can't do enough for you , Also the rooms are lovely to bed so comfortable everything you need little fridge with little snacks coffee and t and breakfast cereal and biscuits . If you are looking for a real English pub, with good beers and interesting people, this is the right place. If you are Italian and you use to listen "The Archer's" you know what I mean! :D
