The Sun — Restaurant in South Cambridgeshire

Shockingly poor treatment at The Sun Inn. We went there for NYE drinks, only to be asked to leave at the bar because it was 11.15pm - as apparently last entry was 11pm. The door was open, there was no signage on the door to say this and no one at the door to stop people walking in. The bar woman had unnecessary attitude and embarrassed us as other customers watched on. We are local to the village, the pub was not full to capacity and myself and our 4 friends were not drunk. If an 11pm last entry is the policy, proper signage and procedures should be in place to enforce this professionally. The 5 stars is only for their Beer Festival which apparently is an annual event on the May Day weekend every year. We didn't try their food and I have no idea what their usual choice of beers is like. The festival had an excellent range of cask conditioned beers from dark mild through various pale ales to super strong ale.
