Country Maid — Restaurant in South Hams

Just been for takeout lunch, i had a coronation chicken baguette on granary, it had big chunks of chicken in it at least 100-200 grams worth id say, the coronation sauce was really tasty, and something you don't get often anymore a soft baguette which was doughy and loads of grains, lovely for a change, the salad was crispy and fresh and plenty of salted butter. I also had a scrumpy egg which had stuffing mixed into the sausage meat, which was delicious. I also bought a San Pellegrino lemon can which is the perfect drink to quench your thirst on a hot summers day.

The wife had white BLT baguette and she said it was incredible, just as good as the ones she used to have on her lunch break at school 15+ yrs ago.

Service was excellent and friendly.

For 2 good portioned sized baguettes, scotch egg, millionaire shortbread and a can of pop came to less than £15 which is amazing value with the cost of living these...

This wonderful gem in Ivybridge is excellent they did a birthday party buffet for me in August nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious plenty of it and the gluten free and vegetarian clearly marked and good choices very one commented on how good it was. The staff are so helpful and atmosphere in the shop is so friendly...

Just realised I've been going here on and off for the last 8/9 years so guess I should probably review haha. Lovely deli with friendly staff and a very nice selection of products, the wraps and baguettes (hot and cold) are personal favourites. Very much hope this store is around for a long...
