Chameli Tandoori — Restaurant in South Holland

We ordered over the phone for a take away order and was told it would take 1hr, we weren't too bothered by this wait. But worth noting, they get busy so order early. I went to collect an hour later, paid and was asked to sit & wait briefly. It was another 25 minutes of waiting, in this time other customers had come and collected but I was still waiting. Eventually I was given the food and i headed back.

The 3 curries we had ordered were quite small portions and the vindaloo I wanted for its spice was hardly much stronger than a korma. We were disappointed by the portions, and I was really disappointed by the flavor & spice of my vindaloo.

Additionally the peshwari naan that I had ordered was substituted with a chilli naan. Unfortunately by the time I had gotten home I just wanted to eat, and going back was not...

Have just had a meal out here for our wedding anniversary, and I have to say, it was amazing. The food was really hot, and they even went out of their way to make me a nagga chilli and garlic panner. They are really friendly and helpful. This is the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to, and we have been to a fair few with only being up here for 3 years. We would highly recommend and thank you for such a lovely evening. Update; We have just had a takeout, so that my mum could try her first ever Indian meal and now she is wondering why she had never had one before, as she absolutely loved it from here. I travel a lot for work I visited this town for work and was looking online trip advisor for an Indian restaurant what an experience from the moment I walked into the restaurant the staff was very welcoming ,polite and respectful they offered my favourite popadoms with chutney while my food is get ready and kept me company I dont like to boast but I’ve never been to a restaurant that went above and beyond as a service and staff was always smiling. The food was outstanding and mouth watering cooked with perfection.

Definitely coming again if I ever come back here they went an extra mile and give me a meal to take home!
