Dragon Pearl — Restaurant in South Holland

Absolutely dreadful food. I live 3 minutes away and was 5 minutes early to pick the food up. By the time I got back it was stone cold and had to be heated in the microwave. Obviously it had been sitting for a while. The sauce for the sweet and sour was horrible and the pork had fat in it, the chillies must have still been growing as there was no hint of chilli in the shredded beef. The veg curry was mainly mushrooms with one tiny piece of cauliflower. The chow mein had been burnt - I can still smell that. It was all inedible and ended up in the bin. If you want to waste money put it on the lottery instead - at least that way you have a chance to get some money back. Even if you are desperate avoid this place...

There was a fly constantly flying nearby became an annoyance was skillfully caught told the person serving its in the serviette so can be removed ... tissue stayed on the table for the duration of the meal ... had quarter duck cold ... the duck was bland the pancakes were like paper and cold ... not an enjoyable meal ... the sole server was distant not pleasant... did not deserve a tip from our table ... not a restaurant I'm likely to ever visit again .... bad end to a mostly enjoyable weekend ... probably didn't do my research properly before heading towards this godforsaken place ... so clearly my fault ... didn't like it at all ......

Went for a meal there last night had the set meal for 2 (G) on menu when it came to the aromatic duck & pancakes there was no spring onions or cucumber or hosin sauce to go with it ...we waited awhile thinking they would bring it to us but no i had to ask for it ....they had forgotten about it...but then brought us some ...duck & pancakes where cold by then. The food is nice though....decor & seating filthy with black dust sitting inside the button cushioned seating that you rest you back on & generally dirty seating ...this place has gone down hill sorry to say & also getting more expensive we didn't have a pleasurable experience...
