A1 Stadium Diner — Restaurant in South Kesteven

This is the second time I've been here in a long time. I have to say that the diner has turned out really great. I really like the American flair. The benches and tables are well positioned, i.e. the distance between the bench and the table.

The staff is very friendly.

The food is good. The waiting time is also OK. So I ordered and it took less than 15 minutes for the food to be ready.

I wanted leg of lamb with mint sauce, but unfortunately they only had the red wine version!

Since I ate this for the first time, I have to say: The red wine version was a bit bitter for my taste. But that was just the sauce. In this case, I should have ordered it without sauce, but I like to experiment, so it's not a problem. I'll order it again, either with the mint sauce or without sauce.

The meat itself was very tender and came off the bone easily, and the meat itself had a great taste. The mashed potatoes were also great.

My conclusion: Highly recommended. Would come...

First time visiting since they moved into the "new" building. Maybe it was new in the 90s. Personally I don't think the quality of the food is equal to the prices along with you don't get toast or tea or coffee with a cooked breakfast sold separately.

Part way througg eating my breakfast I had a fly come and land on my food so I couldn't eat the rest. No fly traps or fly zappers for a cafe is ridiculous

25minute wait for breakfast to me served to me is way too long for a truck stop. Maybe if you priotised truck drivers over family's that would help the truckers out.

Sadly I won't be coming back to this cafe I would rather go to the mcdonalds and get a breakfast bap. Hash down & a drink included for less that...

Panic stations when we arrived today for lunch…..no more cafe! It has literally been demolished but our disappoint was short lived as they have temporary accommodation around the back of the truck shop.

Been coming here as our mid way stopping point for a number of years and has never failed to deliver. Good portioned and tasty meals at a decent price and not just for lorry drivers.

Makes me smile every time I come in as there are 8 differ types of all day breakfast with the ‘Belly Buster’ best value for money. Fills that hole every time.

Nice relaxing friendly and atmosphere with plenty of space to kick back for that welcome break. A far better option than the multi national outlets around the corner....
