Hungry Cat — Restaurant in South Norfolk

My goodness… what a gem of a cafe!! Myself and my little 4yr old are dairy and egg free due to allergies…. Was so lovely to see the look on his face when he could have any of the delicious (and huge!!) slices of cakes in the display! (rather than the token ‘vegan’ offering in other cafes or the flapjack in a packet) … ‘Any of them momma?? Any at all, wont make my tummy ill?? …. Best …. Day …… Ever!!!’ So wonderful not to have to worry about cross contamination and we felt very looked after by the lovely lady who served us! Popped in for a coffee & snack today (17/02/24). Did not initially realised it was a Vegetarian Cafe. Bonus. The food on show looked fantastic so we ended up having a meal. I had the Soya Lasagne and it was bloody lovely. Huge portions and fresh salad. The lasagne was very tasty and rich. Atmosphere was quiet but comfortable and background music was playing. I am amazed that I am the first person to add a review for this wonderful little café. The hungry cat is an excellent little café with very tasty food and drinks. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice, too. It happens to be a vegan café, although that is absolutely not a reason to be put off.
