once again we visit this wonderful Café, A little concerned to read couple of reviews on here, one of them nothing to do with The Apiary what so ever, it was to do with the previous owners of the Café 4 years ago, and the next one regarding food in plastic bags and refreezing ....I've been in this café very early in the morning and seen how every thing is so freshly prepared with the up most attention paid to the quality , freshness & hygiene at all times. I guess after so many visits you begin to pay attention to all the little details, and at The Apiary they certainly pay attention to the quality of the food they offer to their customers, I certainly know how damaging a bad review can be to any business, The Apiary really don't deserve such a negative review and I have nothing but praise for them and the work they do in the community for bringing people together over a coffee . so I shall carry on telling friends and colleagues to visit this amazing Café as I know my friends and work colleagues will also pass on this referral after experiencing the delicious cakes and scones on offer.. Thank you to all the staff at The Apiary for your hospitality and amazing Naughty cakes...will be returning very...
Read moreOrdered a ham and cheese toastie from here. Was famished and had eaten two bites before I had tasted much. Quality appalling; I opened up the toastie to discover the ham was green. Completely green. Not a bit green like some meat on the wane. I complained and was given a refund; one of the two staff was apologetic the other seemed annoyed. My grandma also had a bite and we have both thrown up since. Completely ruined our day. Furious at this place, this is not food - without a doubt the worst cafe I have ever been to. Should have been wary when they got the sandwich out of a bag - had obviously been frozen - possibly refrozen several times. Surely sandwiches should be made fresh to order - there is more than enough top quality local produce available in Harleston. How can a cafe be prepared to serve food of such poor quality that it poisons people? Will report to the food...

A young lad then came over and thi king he was going to take our order, which I started giving then said that they were very busy and would be with us soon.... Enough so we left and found Marks cafe round the corner. They gave us fantastic service and great food.If you are on the area and want a good honest cafe...
