Such a great pub that puts community at the heart of what it does. Ampersand brewery beers a plenty with something for every palate. They don’t do their own food but visiting food vendors are always very good so check out when they are attending, and you can take your food in the pub. I’ve given 5 stars for food but please note these are on a pop up basis. They have their own small car park with plenty of free parking also in the adjacent public car park by the Co-op. This is a favourite pub of mine since moving to Norfolk a year ago.

As the first Ampersand Brew Co pub you'd expect a great selection of craft beers, and you would not be disappointed! Over 12 beers on tap, interesting rums, a wide variety of gins and various other options make the Cap an ideal venue for a quick drink or an all day session. The staff are friendly, there is lots of space and the atmosphere is welcoming. The lunch menu, while not extensive, is absolutely spot on; I can highly recommend the Ampersand wedge and hop salted fries.

Lovely small town pub, the sole pub owned and run by the nearby (Diss) Ampersand Brewery. Extensive selection of there beers (2 cask, 6/7 Keg) music playing but not too intrusive, lovely young girl behind the bar, chatted to a couple of friendly regulars. Music nights here advertised too. Had a lovely pint of Gybe (3.9 session cask ale) at lunchtime. I will be back without a doubt…

Reading the low ratings, this pub may not be for Moretti / Peroni drinkers, which is what makes it for me. There is no need to have a beer that you don't like here as they will always offer a sample. Not all are to everyone's taste, or mine, but with 12 on the go, you'll be hard pressed to find one that you don't like.

There is one that has chocolate and hazelnut - yep it sounds like Nutella, smells like Nutella and tastes like it - not to my taste, but some people may like it. My current favourite was Mittens V2 - possibly the best beer i have ever drunk!! We were staying in Fressingfield, and i discovered that did takeouts - My saviour as I went back every evening to get one. Shame I don't live locally.

The staff are also the most friendly and welcoming ones I've come across, and are also knowledgable and helpful when you don't know the beers - tell them the type of beer you normally drink and they will help you find the one for you.

If you like a sweetish, full bodied stout then try Mittens V2 - you'll never go back to the brand leader from Ireland after a...

The cap, A micro brewery owned pub(ampersand brewery) that sells their own beer and local craft and not so crafty cider Aspall we looking at you, their liquor and spirits, keeping you on ur toes, they keep mainstream off their record with less common known but still great gins, whiskey, rum and so much more. They host lots of fun entertainment from a vinyl DJ that smacks to quizz nights that will make the chase shrink in fear. Definitely worth a pop down even if its out the way, disappointment is not on the table. I don't work there 😉 P.s food trucks are available on selected dates more about them on the...

Absolutely cracking. By far and away the best selection of high quality ales, ciders and lagers for miles. The selection is frequently rotated with something like a dozen available on tap featuring a superb selection from Ampersand and guest ales from the Three Blind Mice Brewery. Also a great selection of tinned beers from local breweries, and a smashing takeaway service. All capped off (sorry!) by super friendly staff, who know their beers, and tastings are welcomed. They also supply local wine which I haven't tried yet. At long last, a pub in Harleston serving...
