On The Hill — Restaurant in South Norfolk

We were looking for somewhere to eat early prior to going to the Corn Hall last night. This restaurant came up on Google. After reading previous reviews we decided to try it. The restaurant itself is quite small and cosy, approximately 16 or 17 covers and it had a lovely ambiance. The team were all really friendly, positive and welcoming and the food was excellent. The menu is small but all the better for it. They really know how to make pizza. Ours were superb. There is a small collection of soft drinks, wine and craft beer to choose from. The best pizza around, by far. I don't think I'd buy a pizza from anywhere else now having had it from here. This is proper pizza, made in the traditional way, from scratch. Ingredients are fresh and lots are local too. Nice selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and now local gin, and often has an interesting special on the menu too. So glad Adam and Jack set up a proper pizza restaurant in Diss it is much needed in the area where top quality pizza like this is a must have. The restaurant is intimate and which is brilliant as it feels like a treat rather than a mass produced restaurant.
