Food is exceptional, however; service we received not so great. Arrived at the restaurant and they hadn't written our reservation down, and wasn't expecting us - despite calling earlier in the day! Granted they accommodated us and made us feel very welcome. Drinks and starters were brought to the table promptly.. But taking away plates , very slow - this happened on every course. Mains - food super excellent , cannot say a bad thing. However service slow, our food was brought out in dribs and drabs probably about 5 minutes before we had everything on the table! Then at the end of our meal asked for the bill and the left overs (decent portions) to be boxed up , so we could take home... This took about 15 minutes and the plates , food were still sitting in front of us! The bill was brought over and then the plates were put of the bar ledge and left for about 15 minutes and they hadn't even boxed it up, so we left the money in the bill and just walked out and left it. You know when you've scoped well when a local eatery joint accepts your order when you speak in Thai and kind enough to whip you up a classic Thai Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว off-menu! Whilst in the UK, I was at first hesitant when stumbling across a Thai joint given the geographic. However, this totally exceeded my expectations! Especially considering it's off menu. A pretty yummy grub down, good flavor Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry and Tofu Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว. Not the most authentic without stir fried egg and no flat wide rice noodles but not that I was kinda anticipating anyways and it was great chow after all! Good menu with plenty of options for veggies, I'd definetely return to this place and is by far the best available grub in the area. We did get the Tom Ka Hed (Coconut Mushroom Soup) which was very sorry for itself and lacking any effort. Support...

Worst customer service experience.

They told us that takeaway orders were a priority, so the food would take at least 1.5 hours to be served. I tried calling ahead to book, but no one answered. Especially on a weekend, they should have extra help or at least be courteous to customers. This is the first time I've written a negative review, but if you're busy, be polite. You're in the UK, not Thailand. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Your food may be great, but your customer service is the worst.
