NOT UP TO STANDARD - Birthday meal disappointment. I have left previous great reviews for this restaurant (on TripAdvisor) however, on 13/09/25 we were very disappointed. I would have to question if the Chef was a Chef in this cuisine. The Rara Gosht, was perfect. However, since when did Aloo Gobi come in a rich masala sauce? and I was so looking forward to this nice dryish potato and cauliflower. Again, Tarka Dal came in a similar creamy sauce, it did taste nice but not really like Tarka Dal, it was just wrong. And again, the Paneer Bhuna very creamy masala sauce that is not how an authentic Bhuna should be. Chicken Tikka Masala, something just wasn't right, can't pinpoint it but it was nice though. All the dishes were as if they were in the same masala sauce, but all had a slightly different taste to them. I know that this food is started with a curry base (as I make this at home) but these were so similar dishes. After several years of using them, I am now having to rethink if I will use them again, they are not the cheapest but, in the past, it was worth the extra cost, unfortunately £70 could be better spent somewhere else on this occasion. Oh, I cook my own rice hence no photos of it. Sorry guys. Oh, you will see from the pictures how similar these all look.

Wonderfully well looked after. Advise given on what to eat and drink. Food was really good non hurried evening. Fully recommended as a good place to eat. We were just passing through on a change of destination plan. If we're ever that way again will eat here.

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and I won’t be our last. The food was really tasty and very good value for money.

I accidentally came across this place, whilst going to my 'usual' Indian restaurant. So I thought I'd try it, as it is Nepalese. This was Saturday 17th Aug 2019. Wow! A friendly welcome, seated. Wine and the veggie spicy noodles - in heaven. Lush. I'm not a big eater. So took half of the noodle dish home. Which I had on Sunday. Monday. 19th. I just fancied spicy veggie noodles again. I went back. Virtually empty. But had another lovely Noodle fix. More taken home. Had a lengthy chat with the lovely owner. I'm Vegan. Dishes can be changed/adapted according to taste. The restaurant itself is quite small. But that's a good thing. Not too many people to cater to. So the food is better. My favourite Italian restaurant is the same and gets 5* reviews predominantly. Great food, great service from friendly staff at a great price. What more could you ask for???🤔 Thank you so much. I just love the Nepalese take on Indian Cuisine. See you very soon...

Won't lie, my meal was absolutely terrible but my friend's wasn't hence why I'm leaving the two stars, the reason for this was the starter, the momo were just plain average, exceptionally boring but I could live with that, however the chicken Tikka masala.. I would rather have Pataks, I don't know what spices or sauce they use but I'm 99% sure it's Heinz tomato soup, absolutely vile, would you eat rice with tomato soup?.. I definitely wouldn't. Not a great meal overall, service was alright though. Maybe 2 stars is harsh but honestly the main dish was so awful I think...
