McDonald's — Restaurant in South Oxfordshire

AVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COST.

We made the mistake of going here (#Benson drive through and restaurant) on saturday evening at about 9.30pm.

Waited ages to be served and it wasn't busy. Food was served cold. We did not complain but we should have.

Half way through eating we got told we had got to leave now because the restaurant was closed. We were really shocked by this. If we had known this when we went in we would not have bothered ordering. We said we would leave when we finished eating but this was not good enough for the staff so they set off a very loud 90db alarm and walkie talkie noise. They threatened to call the police as we hadn't left.

I do not know why they reacted like this as after all, we were paying customers just wanting to eat our food in peace. Other customers ordered after us and were also sat eating. They too had been asked to leave and took their food with them. We have been made to feel like criminals for just wanting to sit and eat our food in peace. The staff were very rude unprofessional and intimidating. They did not want to give any details of who to complaint to. I had to wait a further 10 minutes for them to give me a copy of my receipt which was snatched away from me when I was handed my food. I was going to need this to make my complaint as apparently all details are on there. We are totally disgusted by the way the staff treated us in the Benson restaurant and will be boycotting the whole brand in future.

4 times I have complained about the service of this branch and aside from a free meal nothing changes. The service is super slow and the staff are rude. The click and serve option, we'll you may aswell do a drive through because it's quicker! We ordered dinner this evening and was left waiting 20 minutes in the click and serve. When my partner went to complain the response was sorry were busy, well there was hardly any customers there! We've gotten home to find my daughters fish fingers felt as if they'd been cooked previously and microwaved, my big tasty was slapped together like a child had made it and is stone cold!

How this branch continues is beyond me, it needs to be shut down and an alternative put there such as burger King,subway or KFC! It clearly can't be managed properly.

This isn't just one off bad service, this is repeated bad service. You have now lost a customer and we shall from now on make the extra trip to didcot for burger King because we guarantee itl be faster and food will be hot.

Placed order, was given the incorrect drinks. Corrected the drinks, was given the incorrect food. Changed the food and thought it couldn't possibly be wrong. Only to get back and find my order was still incorrect to the point where one of us couldn't eat it due to dietary requirements. I left with a meal i didn't order, a coffee that i didn't order and i had to ask 3 times for the orange juice i was told i didn't order but was on the receipt? Not only that, they had a new person working there who was quiet obviously was a little flustered and instead of trying to help and train him, they where snappy and short with him. Not appropriate and not fair. To add on top of this i was in there with a friend a while before and saw the cleaner get angry with his job boot a wet floor sign and swear. We had a 7yr old with us.
