Ayla’s Tapas Bamber Bridge — Restaurant in South Ribble

This place was Such a Great find! All the food we ordered was simply amazing! The mussels and the creamy sauce it came in were some of the best i have ever had. We picked the 3 for £14.95 tapas deal, and we genuinely struggled to pick just 6 to share! (There are so many choices that sounded great!) Everything came out together at once, and each dish was fresh, hot, and full of flavour all with fresh tasty ingredients! We left very happy after such a fabulous meal. The Restaurant itself is quaint welcoming with a very warm homely vibe. Staff where attentive, and polite without being in your face to much.

Booked a table for two, myself being vegan and my partner having a nut allergy, we can be difficult to cater to but they reassured us from the start with very well-informed servers taking us through the menu. We ordered 3 dishes each, without realising that there was a deal on of 3 tapas for £14.95, so that was good value. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty, with particularly good patatas bravas full of flavour. The cocktails were varied and delicious, service was attentive without being over-the-top, and the music playing was very on theme for a Mediterranean restaurant. We had 9 dishes in total. All the food was cold. It really didn’t taste fresh almost like it was reheated. The meatballs were dry and lacked flavour The cheese croquettes were from a packet As I’m sure most of the food is. Nothing tasted nice in its own right

Ribs - 3/10 too dry and over cooked Wings - 4/10 nicely cooked, very bad sauce. Potato’s bravas were okay. Sent the wrong stroganoff anyway but was very basic and lacked depth of flavour.
