We ordered some ā€˜gluten free’ pizzas here. 2 x pizzas. 2 x gluten free garlic breads and 1 x gf pasta. It was the worst pizza take away we have ever had. We ate about 1/4 of the food and we are not fussy at all. The base was so dry and chewy and ridiculously crispy it could have taken a filling out. The topping was not even decent. I ordered 1 x tomato and 1 x cheese garlic bread and we got 2 x cheese just to top it all off. The pasta was watery and tasteless. If you are a coeliac avoid here like the plague. They have absolutely no idea at all. They didn’t even want to try to isolate the food. I was told upon ordering that the pizzas would be in a shared oven which is fine. I understand that. We get that everywhere but I asked the girl are they put on a tray and I was told yes. Then I turned up and they were literally put in with the normal pizzas on the oven floor! Absolutely no concept of wheat cross contamination at all. I asked could they be put on trays and I was told no they were already in! I was met with attitude about how the whole oven will have wheat in the air. We are aware of that but at least TRY not to have the underneath of the pizzas where cross contamination mainly takes place isolated from where the wheat pizzas have been. Had the food at least been enjoyable I wouldn’t have gone out my way to write a review but it was awful. I can think of better ways to waste Ā£35. We couldn’t even get half way through. It was terrible. I ended up making my partner egg and chips for tea it was that bad. They seriously need to just not even get involved in the gluten free pizza game. It is not their forte. The normal pizzas look good but their GF offering is inedible. Don’t lure people in under the impression you can do it. Take it off the menu and stick to what you know or buy in the bases like dominos and put them on trays!!

Very good Italian takeaway food, has a sit in area on a bistro type setting. Have ordered from here a few times, Pizzas are.excellent authentic Italian style, the dough is so good I don't leave the crusts! Good amount of toppings. The pollo is outstanding although when it says it comes with garlic butter it is instead of the tomato sauce, so I now ask for tomato and garlic. Have been impressed with it overall, but if being critical, the lasagne was just ok.

Been eating here since it opened some years ago. Unfortunately last few times have been dire. Got a take away last weekend, the garlic bread with cheese was way undercooked tasted bland and was squeaky. Meat feast OK ham & mushroom bland with hardly any topping (topping finished an inch in from the side so crust to topping ratio wasnt good). Finally the lasagne tasted undercooked the filling tasted synthetic like a supermarket meal. Decided to give it another try we know how hard Vito works and thought it may be a one off. Went for lunch Sunday. We were the only customers in there. Didnt feel welcome at all. Like we were an inconvenience. The girl who served us did the bare minimum more interested in discussing her night out. Felt rushed like they wanted us to order eat and get out the door. Asked for a bottle of wine. Forgot completely initially. Asked again she had forgotten what we ordered. Asked for a bottle of shiraz, she brought a white over and when we pointed out it was the wrong one she told us it's the same wine "eeer no it's not sweetcheeks" stomped off with the bottle, went back to the fridge to look for another bottle before someone else pointed out red were on the counter. Then spent time fluttering her eyelashes at the chef and giggling while he opened the bottle for her.

The starters were nicely done. Again garlic bread rubbish. Other half had a pizza overcooked lots of dry crust. I had duck with roast potatoes. Roast potatoes crispy outside almost raw in the centre. Desserts bought in so can't really do anything wrong with them but presented nicely.

Just an utterly depressing experience to be honest. So much so actually said we dont think we'll bother going again which is a shame because its always been our go to place and had many a family celebration there because they made us...

Below is my old review but I would like to alter this today ... I ordered from gusto italia again last night as their pizza was so tasty and I wasn't in a rush for it to arrive ..it was with me in less than half an hour, hot and really tasty ... this was ordered on a weekday so not sure if they were less busy than last time but maybe I was unlucky last time?

Here is my old review from 7 months ago Awful service! We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery this evening and were told they would be about an hour. An hour and 20 minutes later I phoned and was told in an matter of fact manner that they were waiting for the driver to get back to take them. I said I wouldnt be ordering from here again and got a reply of "ok" ... a further 20 minutes later my partner phoned and asked to speak to a manager the man on the phone ignored this and was even surprised himself that our pizzas hadnt yet arrived ...my partner argued with him and he eventually agreed to let us pay £10 for the order only knocking a couple of pounds off the bill but it was something I suppose. Soon after this we got 2 calls from a mobile which hung up when we answered. The third time we answered the delivery driver told us she was lost. We directed her to the house and got the lukewarm pizzas 1 hour after they were supposed to be delivered. The driver did apologize for the delays (unlike the man and woman who answered the phone at the restaurant) and the pizzas were actually some of the best we have tasted (or we were actually starving!) If we had been given a decent apology and been kept up to date with the driver getting back late etc we wouldnt have...
