10th September 2021: If you have to stop over at Kinver, this is a definite must and highly recommend this gorgeous lovely Cafe down a pretty alley "Chenevare Mews" tucked away from the high street! We had to moor above Kinver Lock and then decided to pop over to Kinver itself. After walking around we wanted to find somewhere quiet for a drink and maybe chips or a sandwich. This gorgeous gem of a Café was what we found. The menu looked great as they were still doing breakfast along with cakes and funnily enough, real true ales on tap! My other half had a Coconut Caramel Latte with a slice of the Lemon Drizzle cake which was served warm. I opted for the local sourced "Hartland sausages on brown bloomer bread sandwich with a pint of the fantastic Purity Session IPA ale which had just been put onto the tap, one of my favourite true cask ales...served perfect as well!! Wow, my sausage sandwich was utterly delicious and probably one of the best sausage sandwich I've ever had! The Coconut Caramel Latte with extra coffee shot was amazing and the Lemon Drizzle cake slice was out of this world even though I only got to taste a tiny bit of this.. Café No.5 also serve Craft Beers, Wine and Cocktails. The outside area is so tastefully decorated and very relaxing and inviting, we loved it along with the chill out calming music being played in the background but not intrusive enough to distract from peoples conversations etc.. A BIG SHOUT OUT AND HUGE THANK YOU TO ZAK, MILLIE AND HARRY the owner who allowed me to take the photo of the inside of Café No.5 bar area. The afternoon menu was put on the tables whilst we were still there and we were totally amazed and impressed with the food on it. What an amazing mix of food and ingredients, wish we could have been able to experience this food, wow! We will recommend this Cafe highly to all the boaters on the Staffs and Worcs canal when chugging through the Kinver area. Well done you all and what you have and what you are doing is fantastic. Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful food and drinks....thanks for such an incredible experience, relaxing atmosphere and a most enjoyable couple of hours at your gorgeous Cafe No.5...!!

We visited this place sunday 3rd april 2022. Absolutely beautiful quaint little entrance walking through a little lane all lit up with fairy lights , we sat outside lovely table with overhead heater , this place welcomes dogs so we had a lovely time recognising breeds , the dogs were all well behaved even have a doggy menu. The staff are really welcoming and friendly the food was delicious we went for breakfast. Had a no bacon and egg roll mmmmm , oatmilk cappuccino the best I've tasted I'm a long time definitely worth a visit . Thank you

We sat outside in the sun there is sheltered seating.. lovely little side entry with other shops.. place was busy for a sunny Thursday morning in June.. great food and service will visit again..

5 stars Absolutely fantastic! I had the most amazing lunch at Café No. 5 in Kinver—honestly, I’m still thinking about it! I ordered the hot beef sandwich and WOW… it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly tender slices of beef, piping hot, packed into fresh bread with just the right balance of seasoning and richness. Every bite was comforting and full of flavour.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was spotless. You can tell they care about what they do here—real passion in the food and the service.

If you're anywhere near Kinver, do yourself a favour and stop in. That beef sandwich alone is worth the trip. Can’t...

Not as good as I had expected sadly ... conservatory was cold and the table not especially clean ... drinks (coffees) took a while to arrive but once they did they were good to be fair. Niggly things really ... our mincepies with cream were super - but the guy serving them had put the napkins over the edge of the plates which meant they had cream over them so couldn't be placed on laps where napkins are most needed ... and no dessert forks ... I know - minor things - but the little things are important. So - the edibles were lovely; the coffee was good; the service could have had more attention to the...
