Dining at Miller & Carter Penn is always a remarkable experience, and our latest visit was no exception. The steak, a signature dish of the establishment, was cooked to perfection. The succulent flavors and expertly achieved sear provided a culinary delight that lived up to the restaurant’s high standards. The rest of the food, maintained the same level of excellence, with each dish showcasing the kitchen’s commitment to quality and flavor. The service was a standout aspect of our meal. Our waitress, whom we believe was named Demi, was the epitome of attentiveness and charm. She ensured that our dining experience was personal and memorable, attending to our needs with a smile and making us feel genuinely cared for. Her professionalism and warmth added a special touch to our visit, making it all the more enjoyable. However, there were a couple of minor issues that caught our attention. The table we were seated at was slightly wonky, which, while not a deal-breaker, was a small distraction from the otherwise flawless setting. Additionally, the restaurant was quite empty due to our mid-afternoon arrival, which we appreciated for the quiet atmosphere it provided. One practice that did seem a bit inconvenient was the seating arrangement. Despite the ample space available, other diners were seated directly next to us. We understand this is common in many restaurants to facilitate service efficiency, but it can sometimes detract from a sense of privacy and exclusivity. In conclusion, Miller & Carter Penn continues to uphold its reputation for delivering an exceptional dining experience. The minor inconveniences we encountered do not overshadow the superb quality of the food and the outstanding service provided by the staff, especially Demi. We left with our appetites fully satisfied and the intention to return, hopeful for another round of delightful culinary creations and welcoming service.

Came here for a uncles birthday dinner. Its a decent steakhouse, I sometimes find it hit or miss. I had the Angus rump, it was OK, I probably would have been better off with the sirloin or ribeye but i decided to try something different. I found the rump quite chewy but it is a rump so quite thick. I also had the lobster tail which was actually quite nice, I have had it from here before and it was rubbery, but this was done much better it was nice, soft and melted in the mouth which is how I like my lobster to be. For starters I had the pork belly bao bun, this was a cute little delight, it was done in a few mouthfuls i would have ordered some more but I wouldn't have eaten my main. I had a virgin mojito. My son has the mac and cheese.. which was really small, he liked it and wanted more. But it was tiny so I could understand why, I wander if they gave me a mac and cheese side as opposed to the mac and cheese kids. Everybody enjoyed their meals and I can't complain. We had a great server, I think her name was Molly or Katy, I have forgot #babybrain. She was friendly and attentive.

Came here for a little date night with my partner, considering it was a Thursday in the early part of January it was very busy. Staff were warm and inviting when we arrived, we were seated and given some time to look at the drinks menu before we were asked to order. We then had the January set menu which for 3 courses was great value for money. There were options for everyone on there, however we both opted for the sticky chicken which was amazing. Beautifully presented and so tasty. For mains we both had steaks, my partner had the rump and I opted for the the Filet Minon. There wasn't an ounce of fat on the rump steak, and the filet was cooked to perfection. Absolutely amazing. And for desert my partner went for the cookie and ice-cream, and I opted for the caramel biscuit torte, both were again so good. All in all we had such an amazing experience, our server was lovely and for what we had the bill seemed very reasonable. Would fully recommend coming here for a treat night

Excellent food. The place itself is decorated well. It feels cosy and homely even though its quite big, and it all felt clean without feeling clinical. The staff are attentive and friendly and quick to respond. I (obviously...) had steak, and it was some of the best steak I've had in a long time. It comes with all the trimmings, some of which you didn't know you needed until you started eating it, and a wide choice of sauces and sides. The starters were also delicious. Also a good selection of drinks. If I had to pick fault it would be that it was crowded and busy so we had to wait a bit, and that it was quite expensive. But for that quality it'd worth it. Plus, another business might have decided to raise the prices because its still so popular, so credit to them for striking the balance they are.

Came for my wife's birthday late lunch/early dinner. Again we were not disappointed! Both steaks were cooked to perfection! I've never had a bad meal here! My wife really liked it here before but now loves it! That is for one big reason for her and that is their menu is nut free! The waitress told us that the staff aren't allowed to bring in any kind of nut products, which is amazing for her as she's got a nut allergy! This is the first time she's been able to have a dessert. It's been years since she's had black forest gateaux, she loved it! I was super impressed with the waitress, excellent service and customer experience, very cheerful and friendly, super quick and she also got "Happy Birthday" written in the raspberry sauce on my wife's dessert plate! Needless to say, we'll be back!

Young server was friendly enough but job knowledge not so.. steak was amazing unfortunately that is all ask for lobster and it came out rubbery replace it with a burnt one not happy at all ... For the money we spent £90 dirty floor dirty tables and staff standing around just chatting I will say it's the management fault as lack of training for the young staff .. funny had an email from them asking me too call to arrange a chat lol so I 🤔 if I put it down have the balls too call so I did no answer 🤬 when I finally got in touch young girl spoke to manager said she's going to call you back at the end of shift I guess here shifts no stop as still not called me back so miller and carter full of shit just like the / most of the food 🤬🤬
