In this review, I would like to provide a more comprehensive assessment of my experience at the establishment. However, I am encountering significant challenges in articulating my thoughts effectively.
Upon arriving at the establishment, I encountered difficulties in securing a parking space, particularly due to the absence of suitable options near the entrance. The location is situated on a busy road, and I presume that parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Consequently, the establishment’s parking facilities are not particularly well-suited for families with children or individuals with disabilities.
Upon entering the establishment, I was met with resistance in gaining access to the premises. This was attributed to the presence of individuals smoking in the doorway, which caused the door to swing open. My initial attempt to enter with a pushchair was met with rudeness and criticism.
The service provided by the staff was characterised by a lack of efficiency. An older blonde female attendant engaged in excessive fiddling with her glass, rather than focusing on the till. When I requested three pints of coke, I was served a quantity that was significantly smaller than what I had ordered. When I inquired about this discrepancy, the attendant explained that the establishment’s standard coke sizes were different from the pints I had requested.
The process of placing my food order was particularly arduous. I repeated my order four times before it was finally understood and processed.
Upon receiving my food, I noticed that some plates contained an excessive amount of chips compared to others. This could be problematic for families with children who engage in arguments over food portions.
The establishment did not provide a check-out process, and I presume that the attendant was consuming the remainder of the ash tray.
The most concerning aspect of my experience was the violation of local regulations regarding smoking. Despite the law prohibiting smoking within a ten-to-twenty-foot radius of any door, the establishment permitted smoking in the doorway, including by staff members. This practice is unacceptable and should be addressed by the establishment.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this establishment to others, particularly families. I would not consider returning with my family.
To improve the customer experience, the establishment should implement the following measures:
Provide better training for staff to ensure efficient and courteous service. Implement a regular cleaning schedule to maintain a hygienic and pleasant environment. Relocate smokers away from the entrance to ensure compliance with local regulations. Install a door that opens outward to prevent collisions with smokers. Ensure staff who have just had a tab aren’t cooking or serving...

Read moreGreat value for money. I ordered the stacker burger which was just under £9 and came with frys and onion rings. The burger was delicious but would only suggest it if you have a big appetite. The frys well they came from a freezer, some hand cut ones would have made the meal much better. As for customer service it was good but could have done with a table check, non of the staff approached me to check if my food was OK. Other than that an all around enjoyable experience and would definitely...
