Why don't fast food establishments get their ideas together? You find yourself in the drive-thru, wondering what's to eat, and all of a sudden the box starts taking to you, asking you what you want, but you can't see the whole menu. Are we supposed to just know the menu already or just guess at the talking box? Come on, KFC!

Luckily, the chap inside the box helped us out and gave us a few recommendations, so we went with that. God bless. It was an anxiety trip to say the least.

The parking is free and there are plenty of friendly and rather outgoing seagulls available to help you finish your meal, should you require them. I found they aren't keen on ice cream, but they do enjoy the popcorn chicken. Rumour has it that all birds love popcorn, so maybe that's got something to do with it... I'm not sure. One bird did seem to rather enjoy the unopened ketchup packet my son dropped on the floor by accident, but when I picked it up, the beast honked at me and gave me a bit of a fright, causing me to stumble and drop my fries, much to the delight of the other birds. To be frank, the whole thing felt orchestrated and left me feeling like I'd been had by a gang of birds.

There were also bins nearby in which you can dispose of your waste, however, the one we saw was extremely full and we unable to accept our contribution, and thus led to myself having to stow the rubbish inside the vehicle until we could locate a waste bin with more available volume. As a result, my car now smells quite strongly of fried chicken, and there are seagulls close by, even after exiting and locking the car some hours ago. I was unaware they were active at night.

To return to the subject at hand, it was extremely fast food, served by nice people, and one of the workers had a cool tattoo, which I thought was cool to see. There's a certain stigma attached to those that are brave enough to bear tattoos (until the tender age of 17 I was under the impression all tattoos were done with makeshift wooden needles in prisons) but I must admit, it was great to see in person.

I will come back to KFC one day, but I'll google...

Ok, so admittedly I'm not the greatest fan of KFC but my youngster was craving a fast food fix so I agreed to take her for a treat takeaway.. Queue was huge (despite the place seeming to have LOADS of staff - a lot of whom were chatting amongst themselves behind the counter..) A gang of 4/5 young lads were in with not-so-nice language skills (not pleasant with a 12yr old in tow) and I actually saw one spit on the floor (not the staff's fault but howay!!) Then, when it was my turn, on asked what bottle of fizzy drink I wanted with my order, i asked if I could pay the extra to get two Krushem drinks instead (like I have done every time we've gone there, ever.) Nope - they didn't allow that anymore apparently, so I had to have the bottle of fizzy drink (and pay the £4 extra for two Krushems). So I opted for Pepsi Max (which is the only one we'll drink) but there was none, so I apparently 'had' to choose another, so I just asked for whatever they had and gave it to my neighbour when we got home. On top of that, the food was bloomin awful - the chicken was burnt (I chipped one of my back teeth on the batter - seriously) and the chips were like cardboard. The £4 Krushem drinks were nice - apart from mine literally being HALF full! All in all a total rip-off - next time my youngster's craving a fast food fix I'd rather take her to...

Clean decor . Ordered fully loaded meal. I thought christ got order very quickly .. yes then understood why . Chips was cold . Looked like they been left over from previous pan fried load . Beans was hot . So to eat chips i dunked them in beans . My burger was also cold as same as tiny portion chicken you get with deal. It was not busy .in fact it was empty . I had left over food from goodness how long had been cooked before . No way is food served at core temperature of 74 and above . . I like my kfc but this once i shoved it under carpet and will go back and try again. Just hope do not get same quality . . . Or it be . Wheres staff food hygeine . Awareness certificates . To prove they understand the core temperature of what food should be . And how bacteria forms . Luckily i felt fine nxt morning . I kept my receipt . Incase of illness to prove i eaten there . as it chicken should not be left sitting about for god knows...
