Visited to pick up some treats for a friend. Absolutely loved it, a proper old fashioned bakery. When people took pride in their craft and knew exactly what they were doing. The wait in the queue is always worth it. I would recommend the quiches you can buy by the slice or whole. Big chunks of cheese, onion or tomatoes. Superb pastry. The cakes are absolutely second to none, you will not get better anywhere! Plus the variety! The staff are amazing super friendly, helpful and cheerful, nothing is too much bother, you have a good chat and banter. They are there with their recommendations. Definitely get there quickly as they sell out so soon. Would highly...

Sandwiches are good, scones are good, bread and buns good, teacakes good, quiche excellent..especially the cheese and broccoli one. All the savory food is excellent.
