The Trimmers Arms — Restaurant in South Tyneside

We was on our yearly pilgrimage from Sheffield to south sheilds to visit family there. We went to the trimmers last year under different management. Yes it was busier last year but I'm led to believe the punters weren't just frequenting the place for drink and atmosphere. Last year it was just another rowdy pub with decent music. Charge £50 for pods and cannot use if it starts raining even though there is no cover over the seats in middle. Very uncomfortable, as no cushions to sit on. Paid £20 to see tributes on 20th August which was advertised as a full day itinerary. However, in between Beyonce and Oasis there was a 2.5 hour gap!! And 3 acts werent on at all! Could have just walked in the pub as no one checked tickets so a complete waste of money. food at little van is fab tho...

Called the number on Google to arrange a few gigs 10- 18 gigs (one of the biggest musical entertainment companies in the northaeast) had absolutely nothing but attitude from the owner/call attendant
