The Wok Inn — Restaurant in South Tyneside

Have used previously and food was lovely. Tonight, delivery was quick, my husband said that his house special Szechuan was again lovely and very tasty, however my sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken was mediocre at best. Not very hot, all the vegetables in it were mushy and overcooked and the sauce was so bland. Not tangy at all and very little taste to indicate it was a sweet and sour. If I could it would of recived zero stars!!! Placed the order ladie on the phone had about as much customer service skills as a monkey to kick start it all off.... food arrived by a very polite ladie however the food was something else never in my life have I tasted chicken that's that fatty had me mistaken for pork to phone up and complain to find out they don't even sell pork on the menu..... for anyone who is going to try this place I'd advise not too and stick to where...

Food was basically inedable.. unbelievable bland... the fried rice was just steamed white rice with chicken and peas in it.... would not be going back that's for sure and defiantly would not recommend... Too bad I can't rate less...
