First of all starting with welcoming behaviour big zero.then we got plates which are broken i never seen this things here. Then we order mango lassi and i dont know what we got just mango flavour and water then i asked for check that is it your standard for lassi and then lady manager came and told me might b it is problem with straw😂 omg i was asking for lassi that should be thick not like mango watery juice and then she was like in last 6 years we are only the persons who complain about lassi so as i mentioned that i just asked them to check that is it your standard.? I never complained and And what i found just 5 month old review that I attached photo that problem with lassi. After finishing starter we asked for main order and we almost wait for 15 min just to place order😂 and after finishing our mains we were still waiting for dal tadka. So we were like might be we forgot to tell them so they dont gave us and as we asked for bill and we got bill with dal tadka in and they literally dont have idea that they forgot to gave us that dal tadka and we asked them to remove it and guy was like ok just pay rest ammount with out dal tadka so i asked him for new bill without dal tadka and what we got again 15 min waiting for new bill because that lady manager was left the restaurant without checking our bill that what we order and what we got😂 very nice total time we spend 1.5 hour and in that dinner time was 1 hours and waiting time half hour. I suggest if u are looking for Indian flavour restaurant there are many option you will find in city centre avoid these place

Overall a decent experience but expected more to be honest! We got: -Naan -Samosa -Butter tofu -Onion bhaji -JFC biryani The bhaji was strange and just fried slices of onion, wouldn’t reorder. They also forgot our sauce that comes with it so had to chase up on that. One of the naans was slightly under done but my garlic one was delicious! I loved that they had vegetable or fake meat options, and the butter tofu was really good. The biryani sauce didn’t taste of much so that wasn’t great. Unfortunately the main issue was with service- had to wait for over 25 minutes for drinks despite it being a small restaurant. The people on the table next to us had to follow up with drinks and they got them served at the end of their meal. One of the waitresses was also quite unfriendly but the tall man was extremely kind. We had to ask for the bill twice and ended up going up and paying at the till, as did two other tables and I also heard them taking the service charge off the bill. We were given two coca colas on our way out as an apology for the service which was kind!

Ordered Aloo Tikki and Paneer Tikka for takeaway just before closing time (sorry again!) and my parents and I are absolutely blown away! The Aloo Tikki had actual spiciness in contrast to the some disappointing experiences I've had before. I wouldn't have minded a little more spiciness in the Paneer Tikka but that's just my Indian taste buds complaining and to be honest it was better than any other Paneer Tikkas I've tried before anyway. Great food, fairly priced, and most of all, purely vegetarian! My vegetarian mother is absolutely delighted! Update: Got a second order of Dal Makhani, Butter Naan and Masala Dosa (didn't get the chance to take pics of this because it was too good!).. Once again, my parents and I devoured every bit with immense satisfaction! It has been a very long time since I've had proper Naan and Dal Makhani in the UK, most places I've been to just don't have proper Indian naan... Not this time! I enjoyed it all, was especially surprised by the Sambar that came with the dosa!

I came for a meal here with friends about a month or so ago. I was meaning to leave a reply sooner but when I read some of the others I was actually put off due to some of the repies. I'm not one for putting businesses down but I've thought about it and thought actually I should fairly review. First off I'll talk about the food.. the food was good and the portions were generous. We ordered the gunpowder fries for the table though and as we are wimps, we ordered them "mild" as stated on the menu.. what we recieved was plain fries without any seasoning at all. We thought this was misleading but they were still hot and tasty so didn't mind too much. Now the atmosphere, we arrived for an early dinner on a Wednesday so during the first half of our meal, we were the only diners. Music was playing in the background but we kept hearing what sounded like the MSN chat sound along with other computer noises which we thought was funny to start with but then it got quite annoying. I also am a tipper and have worked in jobs that tipping is normal and I understand how appreciated they are. I don't like having a service charge added though. I know its not mandatory but it still feels pushy. At the end of our meal, someone came over and asked how everything was. We said we enjoyed it and were happy but then I was told I should leave a 5 star review and that also felt extremely pushy.. when I came to leave a review, I read through some other reviews and I saw a lot of rude and almost bullying responses from staff. This is highly inappropriate and the main reason I wouldn't feel...

I visited this place last year as a delivery rider and was treated very nicely (by perhaps the manager). They told me the food would take a little while and offered me a drink whilst I was waiting. Because they were really nice I waited for the order where we wouldnt normally wait that long. First visit - big thumbs up Was hoping to go as a customer one day to try the food which looks amazing.

Second visit - absolutely TERRIBLE!

It was - 3° no place to lock my bike up so I waved to let them know I was there to pick up orders, they ignored me. So I risked my bike getting stolen and quickly went in to show them my order numbers where a girl took note of them. Then stormed over a tall older guy and litterally pushed me out the restaurant and closed the door on me. Im doing my job, nothing else. I was so in shock I was speechless and just stared at him and he knew what he was doing and didn't care even a bit that hes reducing business by being so disgusting to visitors. IT WAS MINUS 3 outside. He just didnt want delivery drivers inside (I was the only one) No remorse given. How shamefull. So I cancelled the orders and went elsewhere even though it was beneficial for me.

Riders, dont take orders from here!

I can't even consider going here now (as a rider or a customer) after how I was treated. Its a big shame because it looks like this business could be a real success. The only reason its got 2 stars is because of the kindness I was showed in the...
