Eastern Nights — Restaurant in Southampton

Visited 29.5.2022. We're at Holiday Inn Express - food it's NOT HALAL FRIENDLY. Paultron Park.

Restaurant - YES HALAL SERVED!

We came here because it's the only restaurant in a 5/8 mins drive and easily accessible to go out to eat. That's about the 2nd decent thing I can say about the restaurant location. There are other restaurants around but is only take away. It's the ONLY seating DiNE- INN restaurant closest. Plus suitable for quick much.

Food - it's good. Take reasonable but no particular signature strike here. The portion be very small compared that you get in London. See images below.

Atmosphere - DEAD. There's no spark Car park - very little where you can find really. Host - Hospitable and somewhat welcoming. There is no VIBE. Child friendly - not so much and NO child seat. Decorative - OLD and Dead, haunted feeling. Sofa smelled and bad air came from when seated and cob webs seen on the side it's not something I would go back to. They sell alcohol. Table rocked. Hand wash at entrance, really good to see.

Recommended. Great food! A very enjoyable night out. I ate there tonight with my parents, husband and niece. We ordered vegetarian samosas (bit too spicy/hot for us), onion bahjis (excellent); chicken tikka masala; chicken kashmiri; chicken tikka makhani; vegetable biryani and cheese naan bread and coconut naan bread (delicious). Everyone enjoyed their meal - there were lots of clean plates! Very good price. The restaurant was very clean and had a good atmosphere even though we were the only ones eating at the time. I'm sure it would be great even when full. The waiters were attentive but did not interrupt unnecessarily. This was our first time and we will definitely be going back! This evening we order a take from the restaurant the food arrived after an hour and twenty minutes ( after being told it would be 40) we order startwhat we're over cooked and incomplete. The mains one was cold but edable the other was cold inedable and the source was bitty. I was very unhappy and called and asked for a full refund... I was told they were unable to give me one as the manger was not there I th asked for the manager to call me that was not possible I said I would call tomorrow Saturday again he would not be in so I asked if they were refusing to give me a refund which they confirm....
