The second time, very disappointed. The reason is that my boyfriend and I both order a similar brunch, he has ham + egg + chips, and I have sausage + egg + chips. When the waitress came, she made a mistake about our food, so my boyfriend took mine as his and sprinkled vinegar on the fries. And then we immediately reacted, so I said I'd change the fries. The waitress asked for an extra charge and accused us of being the problem. I feel very angry about this and I don't mind paying extra, but I don't accept that it's my problem. Her explanation of the incident: When he offered my dish to my boyfriend, my boyfriend said yes. But saying yes is just a habitual colloquial word that means yes pls. You're a waitress. Figure out customers orders ur responsibility. Popped in for a quick cup of tea and what I saw I liked. The cafe is clean and tidy, the staff are polite and friendly. My cup of tea was well made and I was impressed by some of the food displayed. The breakfasts seem very popular and all types of breakfast are catered for - from fairly large to 'gut busting' to a version for slimmers. Great selection of sandwiches, rolls and bagels. perfectly poached eggs on bloomer granary toast. i had sausage and bacon with it, the back bacon was wonderful the proper amount of rind and obviously freshly cooked, the sausage made by someone who knew what they were doing firm and meaty definitely delicious. it's our third visit each time it has been really fab. i felt i had to tell people about it.
