KFC Southampton - Portswood Road — Restaurant in Southampton

First time travelling into town, we were hungry as a family after such a long journey we decided to stop here for food. We ordered 10 pieces of family feast with extra 8 wings, to be honest the quality of the food did not look up to standard already and after tasting one chicken me and my partner said the food served was very cold! I came to tell them with the buckets if chicken the staffs or managers who was not even there was trying to argue with me how it's not cold its fresh, when I blatantly stood there seen how the food was put together. The manager then tried forcing a refund for me through when I repeatedly said I don't wish for a refund I just want fresh chicken. She then took the buckets and asked how many pieces inside I said its complete the two at the tops been bitten by us but you're more than welcomed to count it. She then proceeded to throw them in bin and then went on to give me some from the stands, I tried requesting for thighs and drum pieces she declined it. Then after receiving the buckets, I went to sit back down at this time as a family we were not happy the way it was handled given the circumstances. We started eating food but then we've lost appetite and decided to take it away with us. I thought I didn't want to make a scene, but I will be contacting their customer services. In general, we've discovered the quality of the food was horrible, including the appearance and the taste. We didn't eat the food at all! We came to the conclusion the quality of the food was very poor! I don't know whether it's because of it being a smaller town but either way due to my experiences it's as if the oil used has not been cleaned. I...

Horrible store. I love kfc food but when i visit this place it's always dirty, the floors, the tables and the staff is so rude. The waiting times are so long even if there are only 6 people in the store. Today i waited 15 minutes for 3 boneless chicken pieces , i mean, it's a 'fast food' isn't it? The staff should have the food prepared and ready to go. One of the employees started sweeping the floors and throwing all the garbage on the floor towards me and the other clients that were waiting and she has not said sorry or can you move a bit please not even once. The serving staff were angry and happily chatting instead of cooking that fast food. When i went to get my order i didn't understand what one of the employees was saying (as she didn't use proper English) and she got frustrated and said (jokingly i guess) that she doesn't have to give me the drink i paid for. Service: rude, sarcastic.

The woman at the till was really rude- I ordered a regular box meal. However, I noticed I was charged for a large. I told the lady 'excuse me but you've charged me for a large', and she then went on to tell me that's what I asked for, as if I were a bad school kid messing about. I told her not to worry and that a large will be fine, then she kept still going on about how she just put together what I ordered in a way as if to say 'well what's not my problem, that's your problem'.

I noticed the previous customer also had an issue with her and the customer seemed to be told off too. One thing for sure - I am NEVER going back to that place. It's the second time I've been to thst place and I think I've seen enough.

Food: my order was ready in less than 30s - this isn't a good thing. Chicken was really dry. Wasted £9 and consumed a not very enjoyable large number of calories. Worst fast food experience I've ever had. My advice is avoid this...
