Thai Thai Express — Restaurant in Southampton

Very disappointed with Nuttiya Thai which has been changed over from Thai Thai on deliveroo. I was a regular customer at the previous named Thai Thai but when I ordered yesterday it was very disappointing, I don't know if the ownership has changed hands. One lamb shank massaman replaced with beef, no refund offered just a sorry note stuck on the box. The restaurant didn't contact for an alternative option and my friend didn't eat beef. (We had ordered two of the lamb). My husband ordered the spicy sea bass which is usually filled with fish and a variety of vegetables but this was less than half of the usual portion. It's a shame the flavours are good which is the reason for my 2 star. I believe chef is the same, however, their lack of customer service was appalling and huge reduction in portion size compared to our past orders left us all unhappy and hungry. If I had not called I would be charged for the more expensive order or refunding the difference. I had to call the restaurant and was meant with an abrupt "put it in the bin and get a refund from deliveroo". There was no offer of would you like us to get an alternative out.

Sadly I will not be going back as the prices have also increased for a very poor service...

Was recommended this place from a friend. So I thought give it a try and when I ordered at 7pm my order said would be about 45 mins which was ok But then I got an update to say still trying to locate a driver, your shortly be updated, after waiting over 2 hours for my food to arrive… not only was it stone cold but 2 items missed off order, when I called the restaurant to let them know they told me its wasn’t their issue, even thou I had a receipt and they had clearly marked off 2 items off the receipt but charged me for the 4 items. They said I needed to speak to Ubereats which is an absolute mission to even get a compliant or my point across. I was refunded £8.00 from ubereats but the food was stone cold and not delivered in the time it stated I get that on a Friday night they are busy but to have to wait over 2 hours for food and then not have what we paid for is disgusting customer service poorly organisation I don’t want to eat cold food at 9.45pm at night and to be told it’s not their problem I do not recommend this one of worst online delivery...

We are foodies and Thai is our favourite. We always get the green curry. Be warned...this green curry is the spiciest one we have ever tasted. It will blow your head off. We took it home and added coconut cream...still overly spicy but it is definitely the best you will find in terms of meat veges proper Thai herbs and flavour so it's worth buying it. If they added less chillies, it would be almost perfect for us...and mind you..we like hot food and are very used to spicy food. They are definitely traditional and are very nice. The lady always talks to us. The massaman is not bad either. Overall...we are very happy and we go back all...
