Things we really like about the Fleming Arms :- 1. Location and character : An attractive heritage building with a spacious, welcoming interior and comfortable seating... 2. Ample parking at rear and an outside seating area next to the little Monks Brook stream.. Very picturesque if you choose to sit outside! ... 3. Service: Quick and efficient service from very friendly and helpful staff... 4. Quality: Truly delicious food prepared by fantastic chef Curtis... Thank you Chef, we send you our best compliments.... 5. Amazing prices : the best value for money we have found yet.... 6. Its just down the road from where we live! Why on earth have we not been here before? We've been missing out on this lovely place for years! Highly recommended, an we'll be back!! 👌👍😜😁

Nice little pub, perfect to grab a bite to eat. Prices are incredibly cheap and portions enormous due to being part of Hungry Horse chain. Staff were not particularly attentive to us on our stay, no one came and asked how our meals were. I called a waitress to point out something was missing from my dinner and she said "Oh I think we ran out". No sorry, no offer to replace or reduce price. But... When food is that cheap I didn't feel I could complain. Will def go again if we can't be bothered to cook and want cheap big meal. So many offers to support families and older people too.

I have been in this pub a lot and I’ve seen things that would make you sick The chef having his break in the bar and picking his nose and wiping it on his apron Old man who takes his dog in all the time and puts food on the table and lets the dog lick the food off the table The food is absolutely disgusting This is called the ping ping pub because everything is done in the microwave The food is either undercooked or overcooked raw or frozen still I know a lot of people that still go in this pub and some that have started going elsewhere for a better atmosphere This pub does nothing to celebrate Halloween, Christmas or the new year What kind of pub does nothing like that If you have 1 pint and get in your car to go home they Barr you for 3 months What the hell surely they can’t do that Barr you for having 1 pint and driving home I’ve also heard staff asking people to put a good review up for them and asking those who put bad reviews to take them off the site The toilets are disgusting I stopped going in them because they was that bad. There is people in there that take drugs In the pub including staff but nothing gets said about that either. Unbelievable I’ve nothing to gain by telling the truth about what I know and have heard and seen I just think people should know what is going on Whoever owns the pub should be doing something about it because they are losing customers now and before long there won’t be anyone wanting to go into their pub I wouldn’t recommend The Fleming Arms if you paid me I definitely wouldn’t recommend the food there I’m sorry if this offends anyone but it’s about time somebody spoke out.

Of course you would say that No I would not like to see you in person People need to know what it’s really like in the pub Could you tell me what you did for Christmas for the customers because I know for a fact nothing was done The same at Halloween nothing was done And there’s nothing organised for tonight New Years Eve I have a relative that used to drink in the pub until recently and now they have moved to another pub and they have a ticket for tonight to see the new year in I have a couple of friends that still drink in the Fleming Arms for now but even they have said...

I went here on a family gathering of 9 people for a birthday on 26/5/25. The table was pre booked a week before by physically going into the Fleming arms as we did not want any mix up as it was very important to us to get a particular table. So on the day we turned up and one of the young servers told us that the table was not available, so she said "do you want me to get my manager" in an attitude voice. So the manager came over (Claire) and I must say she saved the day as it was abit of a nightmare. All this mixed with a big family that had been there since 430pm taking up alot of space, it was now 7pm. Claire told us all to sit upstairs which was actually closed, but was nice to have a big area, although some other people did come up. By the time we sat down it was 715pm (45 minutes after turning up) and tbh we were getting a little fed up. We got attitude off one young barmaid in particular who was very rude and argumentative, one thing you do not do is fire back and be rude to customers who are already pissed off with the service. I had a mini mixed grill and I would say it was the best food I have eaten there, although some other family members food was a tad overcooked/dry. I do feel the evening was saved by the manager Claire and her attention to detail was excellent, however the attitude of the other staff member was disgusting, maybe a course in polite customer service would benefit. If it was not for that attitude then I would of given 5 stars. I will definitely think twice about returning but do thank the manager for what turned out to be a good evening for our...

Visited on Sunday and ordered a roast and a mix it grill. After waiting for a while the food turned up but no drinks which I queried and the girl said she would look into. In the meantime I has to send my fries and onion rings back as they were cold. Eventually a lady turned up with the drinks but instead of the gin we had ordered it was rum! When my hot fries etc arrived I then pointed out to the guy that the onions and peppers on the hot plate were burnt yo be told " that's how they come"! When the manageress returned with the correct drinks I pointed out the burnt food and she was very apologetic and in fairness offered to refund the food. I was told to see her before we left. My wife's roast was also below standard, 1 slice of turkey was dried out and inedible and the stuffing basically shattered when she tried to cut it. When I went to see the manageress for the refund I was told that because I paid on the app they would have to credit the whole bill not just the food, which would take 5 days to process and then re charge me for the drinks that I had to pay for then. Needless to say 5 days later I am still waiting for my refund and as it stands I am nearly £20 out of pocket. By the way we have been here several times before and have given favorable reviews. But surprisingly, I don't think we will be going back.

UPDATE, Emailed the pub as requested but have had no reply and still no refund, pissed off with the lack of customer care doesn't even cover it 🤬🤬🤬

Update, After several phone calls finally received my credit, thanks Jamie Lee for...
