Having read the recent reviews I thought we'd give this pub a go. Went in and stood at the bar for a good five minutes before the fella playing the fruit machine ran out of money and decided to try and serve us. The was filthy wearing a daylong jacket and looked like he had been laying Tarmac all day. When we asked if he had finished playing the machine he just smirked at us, seeing also they had no beer apart from fosters on we beat a retreat from this poorly run pub and their dirty staff and went to the Junction, who know what they are doing. Read moreVisited here the first time for the England Colombia World Cup game. The atmosphere is great, the interior is decorated with a 60s/70s rock theme, there's a lovely shady beer garden which is fantastic in the summer. Food is great, I've eaten here 3 times now (twice for the Sunday roast which is lovely). The drinks are fairly priced (£3.50 for an Amstel). The owners are really friendly and allow you to order takeaways there when the kitchen isn't open - and even provide plates, cutlery and napkins! This place has a nice buzz and a nice atmosphere and I'm so glad to have this pub...
