Sulas is located in a great place where a lot of students live, on Portwood High Street.This has to be my 4th or 5th time eating at Sula's. To start the food hygiene rating is 5 out of 5 which is very good and this as well as a tripadvisor excellence badge is also visible on the front windows displayed on their front window. You can see on tripadvisor it in the top 10 in southampton for restaurants. Also the food is always tastes and looks great and it feels just like your in Greece... apart from the fantastic (not) english weather outside! The menu is very straight forward and they do a variety of different dishes and they all taste great. The picture is of my Pork Gyros which I had a couple of days ago. It tasted great, filled to the brim with seasoned fries, onion, tzatziki, sula's signature sauce, (tomato is normally there, however I am not a big fan of tomato) and of course the shredded pork which just melts in your mouth. The price is extremely reasonable and they do wrapped (picture) or plated gyros which is a slightly larger portion. Sula's have couple of meal deals in which more than two people could share if your keeping costs low. Takeaway's are available, either walk in or give them a call. Great food, great price and...

I went to this place after it was recommended by a greek friend hoping to have authentic food. The restaurant atmosphere was okay although it lacked the stereotypical warmth of greeks, the waitress was polite and friendly and service speed was good. However, the experience was rather disappointing; first the menu pictures were deceiving where they pictured non-existent items and a rather inflated portion size. For example it showed that some items would come with garlic bread but we were told they only come with chips. We ordered the Beef Moussaka and Griddled Chicken fillet and were very disappointed. They did switch the chips with garlic bread for the moussaka (.. who has chips with that anyway?) and the dish was okay but the surprise was the sad-looking single slice of chicken that we paid ~14£ for. Believe me when I say the picture shows it bigger than it actually is. This was ridiculous in my opinion that they charge this much for a small single piece of chicken. I had a take-out issue that upset me greatly because I made plans, ordered food and I didn't have a salad and chips included in the overall 3-person meals I ordered that I only noticed when I got home and then the employee who answered the phone told me it's not included for take-away on the Gladiator meat feast but it was included in the Meal for two that I also got from them so if you can serve it on one type of dish, then you can't blame covid that you can't serve it on the second also so that was a made-up excuse. I sent some hate reviews from other accounts just to show you I can drop your ratings for ruining my night and making me have to make my own salad and chips so the whole point of ordering your food was pointless since I had to make food myself but I took them down after less than 24hours. If someone else makes me order food from you again, I hope you won't ruin...
