Looming out of the ground fog on a rise in the road in Wheathampstead, beconking cold humans and teddy bears, BrewHouse is a welcome spot of warmth on a cold winter day.
Ordering at the counter was a little hectic due to the small space, watch out not to bump your head on the clear Covid plastic screen.
I shared a three cheese toastie with Mummy Debra. Prepared hygienically in a paper bag, and placed under the hot griddle. We yummied it in the cute little room with the naughty corner, overlooking a picture of a glorious zebra flamboyantly dressed as a human!
A shame that there was no fire in the fireplace but the cafe is lovely and warm anyway.

Very deceiving from the outside...they have plenty of rooms and spaces inside!
A pleasant atmosphere...bit of jazz in the background with a mix theme.
