Conveinent for the bus bus stops, sits a quirky micro pub. Public house is a great description as it is just like someone's house, open to the public.
You'd be forgiven for thinking it the abode of a little old lady who can still use the stairs.
With it's leather high-backed armchairs, olds books and nick-nacks it really does have a homely feel. Sit downstairs or up. Upstairs is like a studio flat complete with butler sink and old-fashioned charm!
We would have sat upstairs had we not needed to look out for he bus. But I am sure we will go back in the spring now Mummy has a bus pass for Hertfordshire.
Please don't go in a boisterous group. This is too peaceful for that!
