I have to say that the hospitality at this pub is exceptional, I was served by a lady called sally, she really went out of her way to make sure that everything was how it should be, there was a table of 12 of us and they found it very easy to accommodate us. Delightful and very friendly little pub. We had an impromptu visit here for dinner for five people, including a wheelchair user, and it was absolutely lovely. This is by far the best pub for food in Wheathampstead. Besides a decent pint there is a decent menu. My favourites are fish 'n' chips, chilli with rice and ham off the bone with egg and chips.
