Charlie's Coffee & Company — Restaurant in St Albans

This shop came highly recommended by a friend who used to work here. Not all recommendations meet the standards but this definitely does!

The coffee both cold brew & latte were delicious. My mate got an affogato which he said was restaurant standard and the banana loaf I got to take out was also lovely. Jade who served me was amazing and provided so many helpful recommendations and was a great conversationalist.

The BEST coffee - by a long way. The coffee is truly amazing and the staff are always very friendly. There are also lots of other lovely foods and drinks, all carefully selected. The coffee comes from Stephen Leighton's "Has Bean" which is famous for sourcing delicious and ethical coffee direct from the best farms around the world. I love getting freshly roasted coffee beans perfectly ground here for making coffee at home. Also love the new yellow tables and chairs...

My husband and I came this morning and appreciated the kind two ladies working who were very friendly and chatty. However what we were not expecting was the incredible coffee, honesty it may have been the best coffee I have ever had in my life. It was like silk, so smooth and beautiful even as an espresso with little milk. I’m so excited to have found this place but absolutely gutted they are closed...
