Avoid, flat coke, rude staff, cake service charge, stale bread, shocking, felt uncomfortable and long waits when there was only two other people there, staff watching videos on their phone, rather than looking after guests. Response to feedback from management:_ I really appreciate your reply. However, I want to clarify that we weren't too concerned about the flat drinks or stale bread since we understand that unexpected things can happen, and that's totally fine.
What bothered us was the defensive attitude that made it seem like we were being accused of lying. Additionally, the comments made by the waiters as we were leaving, like "less complaining next time," were really rude and uncalled for.
We all work very hard and took time off to celebrate our friend's birthday, so it was disheartening to be treated as if we were just there to complain and score a free meal.
It's frustrating to hear you repeatedly mention that "no one else complained" that night because it has nothing to do with our specific experience. It feels like you're implying that we're fabricating the entire situation, and that's disheartening.
While you claim to take our concerns seriously and promise to investigate, I have my doubts because you're still maintaining a defensive stance and not acknowledging any wrongdoing regarding the rude comment made by the waiters as we were leaving. It seems like you're solely focused on the issue of the flat coke.
We have been loyal customers, celebrating special occasions at your restaurant for the past nine years with our friends. It was quite disappointing to hear one of the waiters say, "you haven't been coming here for long because I don't recognize you," when I inquired about the £5 cake charge. We were more than willing to pay the charge, but we simply wanted some clarification since we had never encountered it before. However, we were immediately met with an...
Read moreI had a delivery. It was an absolutely fantastic meal that truly showcased the best of Indian cuisine. The chicken tikka starter was tender, juicy, and perfectly marinated with just the right amount of smoky char from the grill—an irresistible way to begin the meal.
The chicken vindaloo was the star of the evening: bold, fiery, and deeply flavourful without overpowering the palate. The balance of heat and spice was spot on, making each bite both exciting and satisfying.
To complement it, the Bombay potatoes were cooked to perfection—soft in the middle with a gently spiced coating that paired beautifully with the curry. The plain boiled rice was light and fluffy, the perfect base to soak up the rich vindaloo sauce. And the plain naan bread was everything it should be: warm, pillowy, and slightly crisp around the edges, ideal for scooping up every last bit of the meal.
Altogether, this combination delivered a complete and authentic dining experience—comforting, flavourful, and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty and satisfying Indian meal.

Read moreWe had a fabulous dinner for an adult family of four and took advantage of the Monday (and Tuesday) special offer of a starter, side dish, rice or nan and a main course for £18.99 - all from the main menu which is very extensive and varied. We also had the obligatory poppadoms of course. (Duck and sea-food options have a small surcharge)
Every plate of food was delicious and beautifully presented. It's not McDonalds, top quality, freshly prepared food, made to order takes as long as it takes to cook, it's as simple as that.
Service from Hassan & Mohsin was perfect, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient without being intrusive.
£135 including service charge, a bottle of wine, a small Cobra beer and soft drinks. Great value. We will be back and will no doubt...
