Nino cafe — Restaurant in St Albans

I sat outside the table order poached egg salmon and cappuccino coffee. without even having sachets of sugar or a spoon to mix the coffee 'I managed looking for the waitress to find a spoon sample that they put the poached in very little water to boil and the egg yolk was completely above the water but in one while in the second the egg was completely broken and the sauce was completely emptied into the pot completely hygienically completely water and cut from a temperature that not given to a customer, I spoke to the waitress announcing that this is not allowed because I too am a person who spends most of my life in the kitchen as a corporate chef in. big company and fortunately i know the object the chef the owner was completely vindictive. I did not touch the breakfast at all AND its unacceptable I pointed out that it is not right for customers to give these which I paid 4 pounds for a breakfast that I did not even touch. Been meaning to review for a long time and based on my last two times here and being a longtime customer, the service has declined significantly. My food was taken to the wrong table and sat infront of customers for a good few minutes before anyone said anything and the chicken was slimeky and grey, potatoes over cooked and bad oil and veg hard. The quality of food is very poor and the plates and cutlery smell. The staff are kind and friendly but the purpose attending is for the food not to say hi. Such a shame, was a real gem a good...

A very nice diner with a range of dishes from Scrumptious Italian lasagne to a crisp mediterranean salad. Open early to Late, Nino is a great Place to get great tasting homemade food round the clock that won't break the bank.
