This is an email i sent to the CEO of KFC On the 7th dec still no reply so i have resent it,still no reply. Meghan, after not having KFC for quite sometime(years) i had that feeling come over me to taste that colonels secret recipe chicken, and so i drove to my local KFC which is 3 miles away in St Albans, 1 The Quadrant, Marshalswick, St Albans AL4 9RA I arrived to a menu which i wasn't used to, i chose 4 pieces of chicken, and paid £7.48 by card, the guy then produced a bag and handed it to me, not a traditional trademark box but a bag, i then took it home, to my disappointment there was no serviette no sterile hand wipes, no salt, just 4 bits of chicken in a bag. Two bits of chicken looked over cooked like the coating was burnt, the other 2 slightly under cooked. When i tasted them there was no finger licking flavour, the colonels recipe was non existent, i could have brought a bucket of chicken from Sainsburys with no difference, i then bit into the drumstick and it was red, under cooked which i couldn't eat. All in all my experience was that of total disappointment, maybe you should do a secret shop there so as to see. Waited 45 minutes in freezing temperatures outside due to covid restrictions only to walk in and find they had no idea on the order I'd placed to begin with, when their staff had finally gotten away from their meeting behind the counter and the rude looks and reactions to my order not being fulfilled, they proceeded to miss out a significant part of the order, as well as half of the sides for one of the buckets. When people are making the judgement to choose your brand over others and they're spending hard earned money, especially important now when money means so much to people, you expect to be respected by staff and not be in a potentially unsafe environment.
In another visit there were about 10 customers in their store when the limit is 4. Staff did nothing. It was raining. Again, stood outside as a wellbeing fear because of covid, another 30 or more minutes for food that was below standard, missing bits and cold. It's not like the orders are hard, they're small orders.
This within 2 or 3 recent visits would honestly have scored 0 stars if I could. The reviews show this place has been a concern for years, and in the current climate where people are relying on spending their money as safely and efficiently as possible, they're useless. Not worth the time,...
Read moreOrdered on Wednesday 18/12/24 a bucket for 1, 10 hot wings with regular fries and a tango can and cobette. However , cobette wasn't in the delivery bag. I called the store in st albans KFC ,I explained I ordered and paid for a cobette ,online, it said that I need to get a refund online ,however I told him that If I ordered the item it is because I wanted to eat and not to get a refund, so he repeated to me to go online to get a refund ,when I asked how to do that he said, I don't know how you can do that online...I asked him : To whom I am speaking to? ...he replied the manager..so I said ...well sir , it s a bad management you doing. During the conversation he asked me if I could go back to the store ,in the dark under the rain ,I asked him it s not my fault if you forgot to put the item in my delivery, it s yours and you asked me to come to pick it up?! Unbelievable! This manager is damaging the reputation of the brand KFC by not being a brand ambassador for the company. Absolutely appalling...
