A really attractive-looking, red brick Victorian pub, tucked away down a side street, a few minutes walk from the City centre. It’s pretty compact inside, with a large central bar taking up most of the room. A lovely little beer garden to the side is a great addition for the summer. Offering the full range of Fuller’s ales (I love well-kept ESB and Pride) and a good range of other beverages. Had the Sunday roast here a couple of times and it was really good. Definitely a proper locals’ pub but very friendly to first time or occasional visitors.

A local gem in St. Albans. Very decently priced both for food and beverage. Great outdoor garden when the weather allows, and some of the best Sunday roast in the area. This place boasts very generous portions, and all the food tasted amazing. Would absolutely recommend you go for dessert and try the sticky toffee pudding. The two ladies running it were also great! Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Fantastic little gem of a pub! Came across this as all the other pubs in the area were closed and stayed there all night. The landlandy really knows her stuff and made us feel really welcome! To add to the almost perfect afternoon, she came out with a huge cheese board for us punters!! A real winner! They do serve Sunday roast there on a Sunday that we did we WILL try! Can't wait to go back here.

Hidden away in the back streets of St Albans, you'll find a pub that transports guests back to the Victorian era. Think nooks, crannies, and cozy corners, a roaring real fire, and a great pint of real ale - plus the lost commodity of good Old Fashioned service. The Garibaldi is a Fuller's pub that serves real ales. Their menu is small but perfectly formed, offering traditional pub classics and delicious daily specials. Sunday roasts and regular curry nights are the highlights of the week for many. If you visit, make sure to arrive nice and early to guarantee yourself a table. With regular guest ales to complement a great range of Fuller's favorites, The Garibaldi is a beer lover's dream pub. They also have a lovely family garden, perfect for al fresco drinks or a relaxed meal with your loved ones during the blissful summer months. Fresh food, fresh beer, and fresh air await you at The...

A hidden gem. This pub is a stones throw from St Alban's Town centre and provides a very friendly atmosphere, and a decent selection of beers and ciders on draft.

I phoned ahead to book in for Sunday lunch and Caroline was kind enough to cater for this. The food, service and staff were excellent.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my sunday lunch. However I will be returning again to update with pictures! It was reasonably priced for the area and was of great quality...
