My visit to Tomi Sushi Bar was an absolute delight from start to finish! The bento boxes are nothing short of perfection—each one is a beautifully crafted meal that feels like a culinary journey. I ordered the sushi and tempura bento, and every component was exceptional: the sashimi melted in my mouth, the tempura was light and crispy, and the teriyaki salmon was glazed to sweet, savory perfection. The variety and attention to detail in each compartment (fresh sushi rolls, tangy pickled veggies, and even a delicate miso soup) made it both visually stunning and incredibly satisfying.
What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Our server offered thoughtful recommendations and checked in just enough to ensure we had everything we needed without feeling intrusive. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall charm of the meal.

Then when we order we were explicit & even had a whole conversation about my wife’s allergy to the mustard family, which includes wasabi & they still put a mustard dressing on the top of the sashimi, which if we hadn’t said anything could have killed her.
Salmon sashimi was warm, the crunchy roll just tasted like sugar & the rice was tacky.
To top off this pretty dreadful experience, after the waiter knowing my wife is Ukrainian, went on a weird rhetoric about how great the USSR was & that Putin “isn’t a bad person” 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Overall pretty rubbish food, sub par service & no apologies for nearly killing my wife gives this...

We hadn't booked but they offered us the only table they had, outside, luckily the British weather was good that day. We ordered a few appetisers, including vegetable tempura. The first bite I took of one turned out to be a prawn! I told the waiter who did apologise and replaced it with some more pieces. Luckily, the rest were all vegetarian. Despite this mishap, the sushi was fresh and tasted good.Service was slow but attentive. It's a shame the place is so small, so there is no atmosphere. Unlikely to return as not...
